I installed this unit in my 2001 F150 Supercrew. Even though the factory unit looked double din I did need to modify the dash internally. Externally it looks factory. Using 14 year old speakers was a concern but the sound is great. The unit is overall easy to use except for the the fast forward reverse etc. " buttons" on the touch screen. They are too close to the hard button bar at the bottom of the unit to reach easily. I have always found that buttons on aftermarket units were a weak point. Either too small, oddly placed or just hard to find when driving. Owners manual starts with operation rather than installation. Ok if you had best buy install the unit I get that.

I was excited when I first purchased this unit for my 2010 Corolla S. I read the reviews and a few people mentioned how easy it was to operate, install and so on. It was either this unit or a similar Pioneer unit but I liked the look of this unit instead. I was even more excited when I saw mentioned that this unit could play Divx and mp4 files directly from a USB drive. Well, it was easy to install, I purchased a separate adapter so I could keep my steering wheel controls and that was also easy to install. The unit looks great in my car but there are a few issues. 1) You cannot play Divx files from a USB. 2) You cannot play mp4 files from a USB. 3) Pandora app only works with iPhone, not Android. Although you can stream Pandora via bluetooth but will not see song info on the screen. 4) AV input sound is only controlled from the device connected, not through the head unit itself which is a big draw back if you plan on keeping your 3.5mm plug input. Not a big deal if you plan on only using bluetooth. 5) Screen glare is horrible. When the sun (or any light for that matter) is low and beaming through the back window directly towards the head unit you cannot see anything on the screen. Sometimes the glare is so bad it becomes almost blinding. There is a tilt feature for the screen but it does not help much. DVD playback is very good. Sound is fantastic and will make your old speakers sound great. Setup is very easy and an optional backup camera input is built into the head unit. You can also add XM Radio to this unit but this does require a separate adapter. The hands free calling feature sounds good but could be better. I did like the fact the the unit does not have a built-in mic. Instead it has an external mic which you can run to any location you see fit within you vehicle. I placed it right behind the steering wheel. Other features include connecting additional screens. You can play movies for passengers in the back seat while still being able to listen to music in the front seats. I have not tried this feature but supposedly this unit can do it. There are also amp connections in the back of the unit. Button colors are not very bright but you can find pretty much any color to match your interior lighting. Overall the unit has been very good but I really wanted to play mp4 and Divx files via USB. But, I have started burning videos to DVDs and the playback gets the job done. Definitely recommended if you are on a budget and would like a touch screen unit with DVD capabilities.
