This projector has a stunning image, but with serious design flaws. It shoots a bright light onto the ceiling, and if you try to use keystone, it shoots light around the outside of the projector screen. And yes, it’s pretty loud. To add insult to injury, JVC tried to convince me this was normal.

I purchased this projector for my home theater, to replace a older projector that failed. I selected this projector for a number of features, but the most important was the Laser light source, to eliminate expense bulb replacements. This projector is rated for 3,000 Lumens, and I can sure tell a significant difference over my older 1,500 Lumen projector. The images are clearer, brighter, and less affected by ambient light in the room. The only negative I can think of that I am not rating in the stars is the sound of the fan. I wish it were quieter, but it is not unusual, or enough of a distraction that I would change my recommendation on this unit.
