I purchased this camera for it's digital stabilization technology, picture quality, battery life, and ease of use. The application is for an in-car camera for a race car. The very first time out I was able to set it up easily - very simple - even scrolling through all the settings. Just make sure you download the detailed user manual to help. The ambient temperature in the car was 107 deg F, so was a little concerned about the heat during the race. No problem - since the camera was in it's waterproof casing, I just cooled it off in the ice chest. It recorded for well over an hour, maybe 1 hour 15 min before the heat shortened the battery life. The video was amazing. The digital stabilization was flawless. The image was great. This is an awesome camera that is on par with any GoPro out there, and way cheaper than a GoPro. Oh yeah, the smart phone app works great for setting the camera up. You have to be within 5 feet or so of the camera, and the signal has to be strong, but it works really well. Downside is that getting accessories is challenging in the U.S. as this is an Austrian company. I needed spare batteries but could not find a distributer in the United States. I contacted Kaiser-Bass directly on their website. Within a day a got a response. In the U.S. you can not order directly from their website - not sure why. However, they set me up with one of their distributers, sent me a link to fill my order and make payment, and now my batteries are on their way. All within a week's time. Awesome customer support!

Easy to set up and activate settings for desired results on videos. Great still shots and crystal clear action for videos. This camera performs as well as some of the other brands that cost hundreds of dollars more. Very satisfied with overall performance!
