Cable is not bad for the price, although the plastic around the lightning end came off too sooner than expected. However, still works great.

The cable is built well. I had good experiences with Kanex brand products, and this cable is Apple certified. Be aware that this cable is about 9 ft long. I got it to use as a charging cable on a sofa, but even in this case it's a bit too long. Because it's long, it's also very thick. By far the thickest lightning cable in use. Because it's thick it's also not very flexible, and also it should be more durable than Apple cables

The cord is thicker than I expected but hopefully that will help it not rip and fray like the other cords I have had.
