I've had Kenwood products in the past and I've always like them and I still do, which is way I bought this one. The price was great and having a rewards card helped a lot also. The install was fairly easy for my car and the instructions were easy to follow as well. I like that it had all the needed wires for my amps along with pre-output jacks for sub and speakers. My only issue was that, the mute button is located on the remote control instead of being added to the receiver. Other then that, I like it. It 's a nice upgrade from my old head unit. I hope this helps in making an informed purchase for a new or first time radio unit.

I bought this stereo for my starter car and so far it has been a great perk for it. You get above average sound quality for a fair price. Right out of the box the stereo looks beautiful and well designed. After I installed it, I got this feeling of wanting to cruise around with the windows down and volume UP. The installation part took sometime since it was my first stereo install and I didn't have all the right tools. But I'd say it went smoothly, nothing out of this world if you follow the instructions given. The most beautiful part about this stereo is its neon lights around it and the fact that you can change its colors. You also get iPod function ability and scrolling through your songs either with manually with your iPod or with the stereo itself, which I think it's pretty neat. Overall it's a great add-on to any car.
