It's Killzone, but too much has changed
||Posted .I loved the previous killzones, especially the online modes. Unfortunately for this game, Killzone took a beating moving to the PS4 and becoming a launch game. The main campaign is short - and there is very little shooting. Majority of the time I spent lost as not knowing where to go, or stuck in a cut scene or non-action moment where all you can do is look around... As for online, it's a classic shooter where the Warzone mode stands out as the best. This Killzone lost 3 of the 6 previous classes, now only allowing the sniper, tactician, and assault classes (goodbye beloved medic, heavy, and disguise) Even if you're a hardcore Killzone fan, I'd say skip this title. If you have the PS4, perhaps sticking to the Free-To-Play Blacklight: Retrobution or Warframe until some better games come out.

Best KZ yet!
||Posted .Great follow up to the series. Story is a bit weird at times, but there's so much to look at it really doesn't matter. A lot goes on during missions and the scale of the levels are huge. A couple of play throughs will probably yield better understanding of story. The multi player is great and much more realistic and difficult than other FPS out there. Maps can be huge here too with very complex levels of terrain making advantages and disadvantages frequent. Fun game modes which always change and many leveling up and upgrades to keep coming back to. They also seems to add new maps and they are free!

Slightly larger than PS3, a good thing
||Posted .I like the PS4 controller better than even the XBOX 360 or ONE controller. It's slightly larger than the PS3 and feels just right. That said, the option button is now a tiny little sliver hidden beside the touchpad on the right. To the left of the touchpad is the share button. They are very small and harder to find than they need to be. The speaker is a nifty feature. On Killzone, when you find audio disks the sound plays on the controller so it's like you're hearing what the character is holding. Pretty cool, and comes off as more than just a gimmick. Aside from the smallish option button, there is a glowing light on the controllers when they are on. You can't turn it off - and that seems to affect battery life. Hopefully if you've got a PS4 you've got at least one friend, so buying a controller is required. Low and behold, Sony doesn't even give you a charge cable! What? That's just mean. Minus one star for that mean, mean oversight.

Killzone is the best FPS this year!
Posted .I played Killzone at E3 this summer... And I am so happy to say that this game is with no doubt the best FPS... That's why: Killzone Shadow Fall is made by Guerrilla games, a first studio party, which means that this was developed only for the PS4, so you can expect better graphics than BF4 and COD Ghost! Also, KSF provides a much better dynamic than the previous Killzone, also the MP mode has been improved... Now, you can optimize 100% all matches for your own taste! All that, plus a free DLC, 10 maps for free with a 7 day trial with PS+! If you want a different shooter, you need to get Killzone Shadow Fall!! Fun guaranteed!!!

Good shooter very pretty
||Posted .This game is fun and really enjoyable until you hit the final couple of levels. I'm not going to spoil anything here but there is a part where you are jetting through debris and it's not fun and it's really hard. Hard to the point where you might want another controller around because you might break the one your using in anger. I've read that they have addressed this in a patch, I haven't had any urge to see. I would rather never play that part again. Their are some other bad game design in the latter levels but it's not horrible like the earlier scene I described above. I really had fun up until that point. However this game is still good and multiplayer is sound, I'm not a big killzone multiplayer guy but it's fine. If this wasn't a launch game I would have given it 3 stars, but it is a launch game and they supposedly have addressed the problem with that particular horrible level.

Great Game in the Killzone Collection
||Posted .This is a great upgrade from the last PS3 offering of Killzone. The story tries to make you connect with the character but it wasnt that immersive. The single player campaign is fun and the added use of OWL adds a new layer of fun to the experience. Multiplayer is fun in the beginning but will not retain hardcore first person shooter fans. There is no multiplayer co-op as of yet (DLC releasing later this summer). Overall, its a great game to run through single player campaign but that is about it.

New type killzone
||Posted .This is definitely a more subdued Killzone. Where as previous 'Zones were full scale war and battlefields, this one is more of a wetwork "shadow op". The Helghast are also more subdued and humanized which is cool. Makes you remember who they used to be. The story overall is weak and poorly implemented. It had potential to be great but falls flat. Gameplay is fun and intense at times but the cover system seems completely ineffective. Overall a fun if not generic shooter 8 out of 10
