Kingdom Hearts III PS4
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to pick up the item quickly through curbside pickup service, and the order was in good condition. I'm happy I was able to get this game for: $9.99 instead of having to pay $39.99 like everywhere else that sells the game currently; furthermore, ordering this item on BBY.com helped me with completing my Kingdom Hearts game collection on PS4. Even though,... I had to pick it up; however, I was able to get the item a lot sooner than just waiting for it to be mailed to my address. Especially, since an order I made on BBY.com prior to the this game's order actually came in the mail between 2 to 3 weeks and was completely damaged which made that previous ordered item the 1st purchased item to receive from Best Buy in bad quality which made me feel really reluctant to order anything from BBY.com again during this time of pandemic and possibly consider looking elsewhere earlier last month. I am pleased with the curbside orders that I have picked up in great looking condition lately without having to go through a return process that would've only created a further headache for trying to things I need and want as well while under social isolation. Thank you.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sat down all night playing kingdom Hearts 3. I have to say it’s pretty good and worth the long wait. The story is really nice and the length of the game is about 30 hours or more.

Awesome game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited forever for this game and it did not let me down. The graphics are beautiful. The combat is fun. The Disney worlds are fantastic and enjoyable. The cut scenes make it seem like you're watching a Disney movie as you tag alongside Goofy and Donald. It's great seeing all of these characters interact with each other. Fun times and Disney characters. The free DLC will be nice when it is released.

Waited my whole childhood for this disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge fan of the series since I was a kid. Played KH1, KH: Birth by Sleep, KH: 358/2 Days, KH2, and KH:DDD as well as the short KH0.2: A Fragmentary Passage. A lot of these right before playing KH3, actually. The embarrassingly long overdue direct sequel disappointed me in so many ways. The combat is absolutely fun and the graphics are gorgeous. The level design is the best it has ever been, too. But that is just about all I can say they got right. The plot was terrible. It made little sense, and not because it was confusing (but it definitely is for newcomers), but because you really had to wonder what these characters were thinking during certain situations. The writing was stale and still just as corny. You would think they would have better writing for such a huge game, and after so many years in development. The game was also too easy! I played it on Proud Mode and got through the main game dying only a single time! By the time Square Enix released Critical mode, I had no interest in revisiting this title, even as a big fan. It was too little, too late. SQUARE ENIX and Tetsuya Nomura.... WHAT HAPPENED?! You take over 10 years to release both FFXV and KH3 and THEY:RE BOTH MEDIOCRE TITLES AT BEST! Highly disappointed in you guys. Shorter development cycles please, stronger writing, and give the people what they want. Even the final battle and ending was unsatisfying. I want to cry. P.S. Please don't shove more mediocre DLC down our throats :-(

Like playing a PS2 game on PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The evolution of Kingdom Hearts has stopped in 2005 with the release of KH2. While Kingdom Hearts 3 has become prettier with better graphics, it's beauty is only surface deep. The combat hasn't evolved since Kingdom Hearts 2 and it shows. While this game introduces new layers of combat, the core mechanics are still the same slow and clunky mechanics. I would have like to see a more smooth and fluid combat system in place for a sequel of this magnitude. The story is still incredibly convoluted and confusing. The voice acting is still awkward and the storytelling is dumbed down and spells out every moment for you, albeit it could be for the younger audiences. Despite all of the negative things, I am still enjoying my time with the game. It fun, goofy, and the nostalgia alone is worth it to me. Just don't expect it to be as good as you remember while wearing those rose-tinted glasses.
