DSLR cameras, like my 50D, require a ton of memory and also need a fast data writing/transfer speed for continuous shooting. When this one went on sale I jumped at the chance to upgrade from an 8GB card. After 100 shots taken it still reads 999 available. No complaints here! In the hunt for a reasonable price and good quality, this is a great choice.

The 16GB CF card at 266X was faster than any card i had. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the speed as it did not appear to affect the camera usage at all that i could tell (i don't use the continuous option, nor do i use bracketing). It shows i can take 524+ shots on fine resolution, so i'm quite happy with the purchase.

For Christmas I bought both my kids used DSLR's. Neither came with storage. I searched around and this was the best value I found as price/GB. The chips work beautifully and pick-up at BestBuy was flawless.
