Great Counter Depth Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fridge was the shallowest counter depth we could find which was important in our space. Shifting from a full depth to this took a bit of an adjustment but we now appreciate that nothing gets buried! Pros: Water dispenser works well, it's a bit tucked away but dispenses quick enough to fill a glass or water pitcher. The specs on the filter are really good. Ice bin fills quickly with clear, neutral tasting ice. The wide third drawer is awesome and holds a ton! Cons: Freezer drawer does not pull forward when freezer is opened. Some better fridges have that feature and it would be handy. Crisper drawers are a little flimsy.

Freezer on the small side, but good quality fridge
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No complaints about cooling level or ice maker function so far after four months. The shelf and door shelf arrangement can be a little tricky if you regularly buy tall items (I currently only have one spot where I can store an opened bottle of wine). The fridge is small, as it's a counter depth, but can still really store a lot. I'm only one person but entertain about once a week and have had no trouble fitting dishes and leftovers along with my usual items. The freezer is extremely small, though. I'm just one person but if you like to make batches of soups to freeze, or buy meat in bulk, you're gonna have trouble. With my kitchen layout the counter depth fridge was really the only option, so I'm fine with putting up with it and getting a chest freezer later. Overall it seems like a very quality fridge and I'm happy with it!

Great open box bargain
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This open box item was a perfect fit, and a hard one to find. It turns out the height without the door hinge was incorrect in the specs which is why I had ruled it out online shopping. The salesperson in South Bend pulled out as many models as I asked for and I had brought a tape measure with me, that’s how I found this one. I got Max capacity for my available space without compromising. After reading the negative review about the loose door handles, the salesperson at the store got out the tools and showed me how to tighten. The small dent is hidden behind counter, it was a great bargain! Hint: measure the length of door hinges if your constraint is height, it might clear your cabinet depth.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had the frig for a couple of weeks. There are just a few things that are not a 5. In order to open the veg. drawer on the right, you have to open both doors because of the lip on the left door. I had a side by side and am adjusting to the bottom freezer which does not seem to hold nearly as much food. The water dispenser requires two hands which can be a tiny bit awkward. The frig it beautiful and I hope we are together for a long time.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this fridge! Mainly because of the handle but also because I love that it is counter depth and sleek. I love that the water is on the inside and not outside. Very simple French door fridge. I don’t need all the bells and whistles cause those tend to break often.

Kitchen Aid Black Stainless Steel
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my same side by side refrigerator for over 20 years. A Frigidaire and it still worked. However I moved and wanted a new one it was time. I love Kitchen Aid products so fell in love with the black stainless steel model. Only downside is a small freezer but I have a huge stand up freezer and a small freezer chest so that wasn’t an issue at all. I’m just hoping it runs forever like my previous brand name has.

Seems “cheap” for a KitchenAid
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned this for almost 9 months now and I wish I would’ve gone with a larger one. The counter depth looks great on the outside but is VERY narrow inside. We have a very slim opening in our kitchen and this fit well but is overall much smaller than a standard size refrigerator. It’s also noisier than our much older Samsung. Doors are not auto close and you have to physically push them closed even the last couple of inches. There is a door alarm but only for the French doors, not the freezer. The freezer sometimes stays open slightly and causes our food to defrost. If the food is pushed to the back of the refrigerator then it freezes. I’ve adjusted the temp up and down and it doesn’t help. Anything that is close to the back wall will freeze no matter the temperature setting. This is the biggest con of all. The ice maker is in the freezer and not auto-dispense, therefore you have to use your hands or a scoop to get ice and it takes up space in an already tiny freezer. One pro is that it does make ice very fast. The water is a little spout on the inside. Not smudge proof like my KitchenAid dishwasher and shows fingerprints very easily. Overall I am unimpressed by this model especially under the KitchenAid name. Would not purchase this again.

This is a good refrigerator!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good refrigerator. Just big enough and the water dispenser inside the door is nice and doesn't take away from the nice stainless steel finish.

This question was asked about the related product: KitchenAid - 20 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water Dispenser - White
- A:Answer Noise is noticeable, but not intrusive. You will hear it kick on, but if you are watching tv or doing something else, it will not interfere with day-to-day life. It is louder than most other models I have seen/used

Q: QuestionIS INSTILLATION AND HAUL AWAY OF OLD APPLIANCE INCLUDED?Is instillation and haul away of old appliance included?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes, installation and haul away has been offered and included when necessary on all of my transactions with Best Buy. I have bought many kitchen appliance sets and always receive them on time and undamaged. Best Buy has been great on exchanging an appliance when the fit conflicted with the cabinet design and it was not a product concern, they exchanged the product no questions asked. great service. One of very few retailers that actually put the customer first.

Q: Question"Produce Preserver" : the salesman could find nothing about that. What is it?I saw something in the info on this refrigerator about a "Produce Preserver." Yet the salesman could not find or demonstrate anything about it. He suggested that there was suppose to be something that stuck on the side of a drawer, but again, could not locate it. Does something exist ? Is it effective? I also could not find what is sort of standard in refrigerator these days- an air filter/odor remover.
Asked by Tom.
This question was asked about the related product: KitchenAid - 20 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water Dispenser - White
- A:Answer The produce preserving technology consists of ethylene absorption packets located in crisper drawers. The packets contain potassium permanganate, an oxidizing agent that neutralizes ethylene, which causes fruit to ripen and vegetables to go soft. Thus use of these packets preserves freshness.

Q: QuestionThe door handles are unusual. It appears there is a dark inset; please describe.
Asked by Pickycate.
This question was asked about the related product: KitchenAid - 20 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator with Interior Water Dispenser - White
- A:Answer The door handles are the coolest part of the design and the pictures are not making them justice. The dark side, it's just bad lighting when they took the picture. They are stainless steel and really awesome, one of the main things that draw me into KitchenAid appliances.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the KitchenAid 300 and 302? Looking through the specs, all I can see is that the 302 seems 3" taller, which gives it a claimed 10% more internal volume and a price that is 50% higher. Am I missing something?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer THE KRFF302 model is taller with more has more freezer and refrigerator capacity and deeper doors. The 300 model has 1 fixed, conventional glass shelf and 4 adjustable, half-width MicroEtch Spill Control Shelves; The 302 model's shelves are all MicroEtch, with one being an adjustable half-width tuck, one fixed full-width and 3 adjustable half-width,
