well built appliance
this was bought as a replacement for one given to me about 20 years ago. They are well built and can handle all that you put it through, and it will probably last just as long as the first one.

Great mixer! Easy and lightweight to use!
Owned for 1 month when reviewed.
This is my second purchase of a KitchenAid hand mixer. I have had one for about 15 years and it has served me well but thought it was time to get a new one just incase. Thanks to Best Buy's great reward program I was able to get it with reward points I have earned with other purchases!!!
I purchased this mixer in July of 22 and i chose Empire Red because that's my kitchen theme. I have always wanted one just hadn't bought one yet and FINALLY, i did. No regrets. Im enjoying its usage every time i decide to use it.
A:AnswerI have a KitchenAid hand mixer that does not throw flour when I use it on a low speed. I have even used it on a medium setting and it did not throw flour everywhere. You will love it if you buy one. The beaters are thin and that makes a difference
A:AnswerHi Expatbaker100, The 120 volt (U.S.) appliances are not compatible with 220/240 volt requirements of other countries (as well as vice versa).
What many consumers are not aware of is the potential danger that differences in cycles/second can create. Where in the United States electricity is delivered at 60 Hertz (Hz), most other countries deliver the electricity at 50 Hz. Running 60 Hz appliances in a 50 Hz environment forces the motor in your appliance to run at a slower speed, and can potentially cause immediate motor or operational failure. Not only is this failure not covered by any manufacturer's warranty, but has been known to result in electrical shortages and/or fires.
Additionally, KitchenAid does not recommend the use of a transformer for any KitchenAid countertop appliance. Doing so could cause damage to your appliance or the home electrical system, as noted above.
