Best mixer I've ever bought!
|Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Kitchenaid is by far the best when it comes to mixers. It takes the work out of making so many recipes. And they last for so many years because of the quality. I bought my first one over 20 years ago and still use it for smaller batches as its a smaller model, and this new one I use for big family recipes...its FANTASTIC!

Pretty good
|Posted .I have used this mixer on several projects. I have made muffins and bread mostly. This unit is pretty strong. It moans a little on the french bread dough. The attachments were nice at first but the blade and dough mixer are starting to pit. Not very good for having this only a couple months. Would i buy this product again.....yes. I wish the attachments were better material.

Great for double recipe
|Posted .I really like the item it helps me a lot for whatever recipe i want, specially making bread dough I can double the recipe because it’s huge enough. Actually I already had one before therefore I got 2 now because I’m doing some bread dough for I had a lot of customers ordering some of my different kinds of bread.

Used machine sold as new
Posted .I ordered my Kitchenaid Pro Stand Mixer from a Best Buy Cyber Week sale and waited one week to receive it. It arrived today and when I unpacked it, it was clearly a used machine, complete with butter smeared on the side, chips in the painted paddle attachment, a bunch of scratches on the base, and an oxidized whisk attachment. Clearly, Best Buy didn't check this machine out when it was returned and just reshelved it for my purchase. I'm very disappointed and probably won't buy online from them again. I'll just stick to the products I can see in the store.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I personally own the KitchenAid Professional 500 mixer and it Is amazing. When my best friend who bakes way more than I do mentioned that she wanted one I knew I had to get it for her. I decided to go with the 600 model because there were more color options available, and I knew she would prefer white. She was completely ecstatic when I gave it to her, and has been using it a ton and it is working perfectly. I’m so happy to know I gifted a quality product that will last a lifetime.

Q: QuestionI have had a tilt head for many years but just recently broke. Cannot decide to get another tilt head or the bowl lift. Any opinions on which one to get please
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer Lifts are much sturdier. No joint, heavier motor housing, stronger motor all translate to more power and longer life. The lift is less convenient to use than the tilt, but is much more reliable. I've seen thick mixes cause the joint on a lift to wiggle loose, causing the head to wobble back and forth and fail to get an even mix at the edges - not a problem for a lift.

Q: QuestionWhen comparing mixers this unit comes with two beaters. The description states the wire whip, flat beater and dough hook are included. Also didn't see number of watts included in description or compare. Verification of this information would be helpful.

Q: QuestionCan the attachments from a series 5 be used on this one?
Asked by saj.
- A:Answer No. Different bowl sizes need different attachments to get the coverage touching the edges of the bowl. Small attachments for a large bowl won't mix the edges, large attachments for a small bowl will ram into the sides.

Q: QuestionAre the attachments stainless steel or coated? Photo shows stainless steel. Please advise
Asked by Beth.
- A:Answer They are coated/painted. Seems to hold up well. However I can say for a fact the previous models weren’t stainless anyway. They always been aluminum like these are, they just weren’t coated. Both versions hold up well, however the coating prevents and corrosion.
