These are fantastic speakers. The build quality is excellent. They have a simple, elegant design and look good with or without the grill. How do they sound? Excellent. They are clear without being fatiguing and have solid mid bass. For there size, they dig deep without getting mushy. The Albany 2s won't shake the windows but definitely carry some weight. I paired mine with an SVS sb-1000. I power the KLHs with a Yamaha A-S301 integrated amplifier. Living with the KLHs is double edged sword. They are very transparent and not forgiving in the least bit. If you play a poor recording, the Albany 2s will definitely let you know. Play a high quality track and they will sing. Simply said, I love these speakers. They provide hours of quality music and handle everything I throw at them. I can't recommend these enough.
