Klipsch - Icon 2-Way Triple 5-1/4" Floorstanding Speakers (Each)

I had been looking at Klipsch towers and was comparing to their competition. These came across my "Deal of The Day" e mail at 139.00 each and I couldn't resist! These are very attractive with my set up and after tweaking my new Pioneer 1021-K receiver #also from BB website at 418.00#, they are absolutely amazing!! These can be bi-wired or bi-amped as they have 2 sets of terminals on each speaker, I'm currently just using the jumpers that came attached but it's great to have other options. I'm also using a Polk Surroundbar 50 as my center channel and an Energy subwoofer and lastly, Klipsch surrounds in rear. The multiple inputs on the Pioneer 1021-k receiver allowed this configuration and the results are amazing! I would strongly recommend these Klipsch speakers to anyone that is on the fence............GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN !!!!

I bought a pair of these speakers during Black Friday 2010. BB offered 50% discount. Originally I was planning on purchasing the F-20 Klipsch speakers. When I saw that the VF-35 at this price point, I compared these speakers with F-20 and specs were almost identical. I could not pass this deal. I am very glad with my purchase. I have the VF-35 paired with SW-450 subwoofer and the sound is simply awesome. Like others have pointed out, you will hear sounds that you have not heard before. I am playing back music from my collection just to see how it sounds with these speakers. Very addictive. Planning to replace my center & surround speakers with Klipsch as well.

Had a Set of these speakers for a little over a month now. They are awesome. The sound quality from these speakers is amazing. I was more than willing to spend the $350 a speaker when i went there, but the nice sales associate told me he had the previous model year on an open box table and would be the same exact speaker, power wise, etc.. for $150 a speaker just last years model so i got two speakers for the price of one and their fully warrantied for 8 years. I had no problem with that. The only thing i dont like about the previous model year speakers is you are unable to remove the front plate in front of the three 6" speakers only the top portion over the tweeter comes off and is magnetized so i bump them off if im not paying attention. I have them set up bi-amp so i have the bridging plates removed and my receiver setup to send the 6th and 7th surround channels to the front speakers so i have about 200 watts or so pumping through each speaker. There is definately no problem with getting a little thump out of these speakers while watching a good movie or playing a video game. I even went as far as to lower the power if not even shutting my powered subwoofer off cuz i was getting alot of bass for living in an apartment.

I bought these Icons to anchor my budget sytem. After much research on-line and in-store(highly recommend listening to good speakers to know what they sound like,and what you like) I found this set. When I heard them next to its classmates they blew me away. I believe they are one of the top speakers in their class The VF-35's handlle bass very well,the sub is quite complimentary but you could get away without it if you must. I have them matched with two Polk Audio R-15's and a Klipsch SC.5 center channel w/sony 10" sub.( the somewhat funky array is due to my best -bang-for-the-buck style of buying) For the amount of money I spent on this system it sounds incredible. I use Lord of the Rings DVD's as reference when I show it off to my friends. I hear sounds and effects I have not heard before,it is a brand new experience listening to high quality audio. If you like precise highs, clear mid-range and booming bass , I recommend these Klipsch VF-35 Icons!

I got these speakers online the day before black Friday for half off list price. That is the only way I would have been able to afford these awesome speakers. I needed to augment my entertainment room with front left and right speakers essentially replacing my bose 302's which consequently are now being used as rear surround speakers. I complement the Klipsch VF-35 (made for Best Buy) with a Klipsch center and a Klipsch 10" sub. I tried to remember the model numbers of those, but just couldn't. My entertainment room is now spectacular. I have all these powered by a Yamaha 700W receiver which is seven years old and unfortunately has no hdmi connections, so the audio is output via optical. I don't know how much better hdmi could be, but I am completely satisfied with what I hear. Back to the VF-35's...I let my brother hear what they could do and just couldn't bring myself to turn the volume up as loud as it would go because both our ears wear literally hurting. Their was no distortion from these speakers even as loud as they were. I don't know how anyone could need louder unless they were using them for a nightclub or something like that. The next step up model had three even larger speakers in each tower which I can't even imagine how much blood would be flowing from your eardrums :-). In the end, I would definitely recommend these speakers to anyone, especially the hard of hearing.

Klipsch has done it again! Made a speaker that is great in quality and sound! Got these for a great price after thanksgiving, about half off. It is a definite upgrade from my kilpsch quintet sl. It has great highs, but the bass is a little week. A subwoofer easily fills in where the bass is needed. They are much better that the synergy series by klipsch and for the average Joe, they are more than you need. If you have a simple home theater and your on a budget, then these are great speakers. The cabinet is very solid and it looks smooth and clean. Overall this is a great speaker, and i will definitely stay a klipsch customer for a long time.

very accurate highs,precise articulate midrange,great high and midbass. dosnt have a real low frequency capablity but low enough for most music. these sound 99% as good as the klipsch wf 34;s wich run $500 more per pair. pair these with the sw 450 sub or sub12 and have great music playback and even better home theatre sound these speakers may not be an audiophiles dream but could probably satisfy most audiophiles at alot less than some other speakers that cost 10 times as much and are only mardgianlly better.

Coming from a Bose system that I've had for about 8 years, I figured it was time to upgrade my home theater system. I have a really nice 61" DLP tv and ordered a new Blu-Ray player so wanted to make sure the sound complimented these items for the best home theater experience possible. I replaced all the bose and did an entire Klipsch system with these floor speakers, a new sub, center channel, $350 rear/surround speakers (all Klipsch) that I ended up getting for free since there was an in store special that I had no idea about until I got to the register! Bose has great quality, but these new Klipsch floor speakers (along with the rest of the setup) are just fantastic and I notice a drastic difference in overall sound improvement. The speakers have great base for a floor speaker and you could even get away without a sub for awhile if you needed to due to how great these sound. They are expensive I know, but well worth the price.... it's an investment and something you will enjoy for years! I can't wait to watch the Superbowl now!
