I had question should I get these with 6.5” or 8 inch driver and I can say 6.5 inch is more than sufficient to rock the house. I thought if I buy these and they were not a good fit then I can exchange for 8 inch if needed. I am very happy with my purchase. Purchase price I paid 400.00 a piece. Klipsch had 20 percent off sale from $msrp of 500.00. I highly recommend Reference Premier line. Skip the reference line because it doesn’t have same built quality or superior sound and tones. I have these paired to center rp404c and I’m extremely pleased.

These speakers are on the larger side so make sure the size doesn't take over the view of your entertainment center. After adding these and the center channel from klipsch and a new Denon amp with 4k HDMI capability, I have significantly updated the quality of my 7.1 surround sound quality.

These speakers have a great look to them, and are very easy to set up without banana plugs. The sound is very filling in a small room, but they may struggle in a larger open-concept living room. I pair them with a Denon receiver and have to go between 45-50 volume to get them loud enough. I paired this with an RP-404C and the combination is pretty great for a casual movie watcher.
