Let me start by saying I have owned two pair of Beats, both earbuds and over the ear headphones. I also own a pair of Bose 300 quiet resolution Bluetooth headphones, which were at least five times the cost of the Klipsch earbuds, but these Klipsch are by far the best earbuds headphones I have ever owned. Not only were they way less expensive, but they were ten times better. I put these in my ears and before I even turned on any music I could not hear anything from the outside. Then I started playing music and I was literally floored at the crisp highs and the resounding bass from these buds. They don't look like your normal earbuds, but rather like a clear rubberrry triangularly pointed object, but the way they are designed they reach deep down into the ear and fit perfectly. I am actually writing this review because I was looking up my past purchases with the intention of buying another pair, as I lost the ones I bought. If there are any other headphones that sound better and with a reasonable price, I would be very surprised, to say the least! I let all of my friends listen with them and they all said the same thing!!!

    The BEST for the money

These earbuds are the best, no questions asked. Ive owned BOSE ie2, iBeats, sonys, and these blow all of them away. For 80 bucks there is not a better earphone(probably are better than most headphones in 200-300$ price range). They have a hard time staying in my ears but when they do fit they sound amazing. With no equalizer on your device, there is a perfectly balanced amount of bass, mid, treble, lows, and highs. If you want to kick up the bass(which you may not need to)just put on an equalizer and youll be thumpin away like crazy. The cord on these is also outstanding and convenient as it NEVER tangles. Theres nothing worse than untangling a birds nest that comes out of your pocket. If you have the money buy these and you will not regret it one bit. if you dont have the money, keep saving. I was a MAJOR Bose fan for many years, I just bought these today because my Bose iE2's got stolen and Im mad at myself for not getting Klipsch sooner, and for over paying for Bose. Dont get me wrong, Bose IS good, but THESE are better by a long run in every aspect BESIDES comfort. I preferred the Stay Ear Tips, but i think ill adapt to these just fine. Do yourself a nice favor, and treat your sense of hearing to these perfectly resplendent sound makers.

I'm an experienced audiophile and a headphone snob. Was in State College for a visit, and forgot my better headphones, and Apple earbuds are unlistenable. Stopped in to Best Buy to look for something. I've had good luck with mid-price Klipsch before, and these were no exception. PRO: Fit well, seal well for noise isolation. The standard ear fittings are surprisingly comfortable. Relatively neutral. Bass is punchy without being over-emphasized like in Beats or some Sony. Midrange about what you'd expect, highs were clear, especially when I switched my iPhone 6 Plus standard output for a Dragonfly Black DAC. CON: becomes less comfortable after several hours. These are OK for the price, and can be listened to for several hours comfortably. They are not as good as my B&O buds, or my Etymolics, but are comparable with my VSonics (not the top end ones) at a similar price. No Earbud is going to give you the sound of a good on or over the ear speaker. I normally listen to some newer Grado on-ear phones, or Sennheiser 580HDs using a Headroom desktop amplifier. For critical listening I have some STAX electrostatic headphones, The latter two are far better for extended listening than these earbuds. The neutral sound of the Klipsch was friendly to different genres of music from folk, world, rock, punk, and jazz. Unlike many purchases, I did get what I'd paid for, and that's all I can ask.

So I just picked these up today after my old s4's finally started shorting out. Didn't take care of them like I should. However to be honest I am sorta glad I didn't take care for them after getting these(I had a warranty exchange) These are the best ear buds they have for the price now. They retail for the same as old s4's as they are being discontinued. They come with a carrying case, this time a fabric pouch instead of a metal case like my old ones. As well as 4 total sets of tips. I prefer the ones that look like earplugs because they off the best noise cancellation. My only downside are the same complaints I read from the last generation of s4's. The cord is flat which is nice but makes for awful rubbing sounds in your ears. It's a minor complaint for me since I stay prone for the most part using them. Hope this answer helped a few. I am no means a sound expert or headphone expert just a happy consumer blown away by the quality of the new pair of r6's

Way better than the more expensive Bose IE2s

I initially purchased the Bose IE2 earbud headphones after my Klipsch S4s finally kicked the bucket after about three years. What I got was disappointment. The sound was muddled and not clear at all. I returned them and purchased the Klipsch R6 headphones since before breaking my S4s were fantastic. I can't tell you what a relief it was to try them out and have sound that was even better than what I had with my S4s. Totally clear and good bass. They're also noise-isolating, which is perfect to block out all the ambient noise frequently in my house. Try out the different sizes of eartips if you're having issues with them staying in your ears or with the sound. I started out with medium since that was my fit with my S4s but these seemed to stay in my ears more snugly when I switched to the large. Klipsch applies their brilliant speaker technology to their headphones, so it's no wonder they sound so good.

Good Quality, Wont Stay In Ear

I have had a pair of Klipsh headphones in the past and have loved them. I decided to purchase a new pair for the larger driver size (my old pair was 5 years + old). I have always been a fan of the klipsch headphones because they use an angle to their speaker that fits great under a full faced helmet for motorcycles. My problem with these headphones is I could not get them to stay in my ear even with all the different tips to chose from. I used the medium sized tips and would have to press them deep into my ear for the quality of the audio to be there. However any slight tug or just the vibration of the lawn mower would instantly pull them loose to where they no longer had that snug fit. When they lost that snug fit, you could barely hear the music even with the volume up all the way and there would be no lows or mids but just highs. If you can get these to fit in and stay in your ear, these are an excellent headphone with amazing quality. I got tired of having to consistently put them back into my ear so I exchanged them.

I bought these headphones and am very pleased with them. They have a rich sound that has great highs; the bass is excellent, so much better than I was expecting. The oval shaped bids fit wonderfully, they stay in when I am moving around, they also block the outside sound well. The shape was strange at first, but now I wonder how I ever lived without them. I use them for regular day to day usage, but also running and mowing the lawn; so they have to keep up with movement and loud noises, and they do well at those. I have given them quite a beating and it has worried me a few times that they may break, but no issues so far. The sound is very good, and I was expecting that from Klipsch. The price jump from the regular ones (R6), to the ones with the cell phone buttons (R6i) seemed high, but I suppose it may be worth it to some, not me though. Buy these headphones, you will be glad you did.

I'm very happy with these, had nothing but great luck with Klipsch products, and these are no different. The cord is very helpfully made with tangle resistant material. I try to keep them in the case when not using them, but past ear buds get tangled often, these do not. The mids are great, bass is solid, but not overpowering like some, I prefer the way these sound to over the top blow out bass. Comes with multiple sizes of ear tips, so you can choose what's best for you to seal out noise and get the best bass. Definitely recommended, bought a pair of Beats despite not listening to reviews saying they're all hype and marketing, was disappointed in how they sounded. Took them back for these, blow them out of the water for sound quality, (I work in post production for film/television) and less expensive!
