I am enjoying using my new camera.
Posted .My new Easy Share M530 takes excellent quality pictures. The small size of the camera makes it easy for me to carry in my purse so that it is avaliable for picture taking at any time I want so I do not miss out on taking unexpected pictures that help to retain memories.

Great Little Cam for $
Posted .Bought this in a last minute rush for a fam event. I'm a professional but I didn't want to use my DSLR and my old Kodak ES V530 keeled over the last time I used it. I also have a Nikon Coolpix that I don't care for, so it was time to seek out a new one. Anyway, saw this one the morning of my family event, played with it in the store and decided I would get it and if I wasn't certain, I'd bring it back. My main concern was a camera that took good indoor pictures, that were crisp and clear and one that I could decide when I wanted to use the flash. I found that many P&S cams out there made it difficult for this option, or at least it wasn't easy to figure out. But this one delivers. Of course a few came out blurry but it was due to the fact I was still in practice. The smart capture feature is great, the camera chooses the best setting based on what you are shooting. Tons of manual adjustments as well, and you can use the Program or Scene mode which are also great. Takes great macro (I LOVE a good macro shot) and over all takes great pics even without flash, when your lighting is good. LOVE the panoramic feature, really cool! Takes great vids as well. I can take or leave the "share" feature, but I tried it out as well and it's a nice bonus. No disc necessary, just plug and play. CONS: Battery life isn't up to par, and I've even turned on the energy save mode. Slow recovery, it has just a bit of a delay between shots, but burst mode works well if you want three fast ones in a row. Can't rename files and I've noticed that the camera names your images differently depending on what mode you shoot in. Which is a bit of a pain because it puts them out of order once they are on the computer. Really wish the camera would remember the setting I last left it on. I prefer the portrait mode in scenes, but the camera automatically goes back to smart capture. It only takes a quick second to get it back to what you want it on tho, so not a deal breaker. Overall the pros outweigh the cons for ease of use and quality of photo. Used the sport mode with my daughter on the swings and they came out nicely. Takes fabulous scenery shots as well. I highly recommend this little camera! Bypass all the new fangled high dollar point and shoots and get this little guy if you want something inexpensive but good quality!

OK This Camera is Awesome But for a few flaws...
Posted .This camera takes amazing pictures, is small and compact, and lightweight and pretty. it's an amazing camera with lots of features, especially in the "scenes" setting, it has over 10! what i dont like about this camera is that its so small and lightweight, like other small cameras are too (so its nothing specific to kodak just to small cameras) anyway its so lightweight that i can tell dropping it would break it, definitely buy a case and be mondo careful with it. also the buttons are very small which wouldn't bother me but i have very long nails so its hard to use for me, i think i might have to cut off my nails just to enjoy this camera. but to me electronics are more important than my nails lol. one more thing, i got this camera on sale for 99 dollars by going in store instead of buying online! do not buy this online without checking in store first! i got it yesterday for $99! thats 30 dollars off! overall i love this camera though :) oh but in store they might only have black as the color, i wanted the color on display but they didn't have it. thats the downfall to getting it in store. also it doesn't come with the cables u need to hook it up and display it on the TV screen, but it tells you you can. my moms camera came with the cable so i was disappointed. oh big thing: battery only lasts about an hour before dying befgore you have to recharge it. they obviously want you to invest in a better battery which costs 30 bucks. i know i'm going on and on. lol i love this camera belive it or not. i just want everyone to see the flaws that i didnt know about before they buy it. ^_^ to me the good stuff outweights the flaws:)

Pretty Good Camera!
Posted .This is now my 3rd Kodak camera that I have purchased. I really like Kodak because of all of the features, and the picture quality. I bought this camera because my other Kodak broke after 3 years! I decided to go with this one mostly for the price, and because i needed a camera fast. I like this camera a lot, but I am looking for a new one. This camera takes outstanding pictures 7/10 times. I love it because the colors are very bright, and most of the time the pictures are clear. Some times the pictures come out blurry, or dark. && I don't know how to use all the features, so i'm hoping to learn if I don't get a new one. I've had this camera for a few months, i've dropped it about 5 times so far.. it still works wonderfully, but it scratches easily. I would recommend this camera to anyone who just wants a nice, cheap, good quality camera for all ages!

Compact, Great Gift!
Posted .I bought this as a birthday gift for my sister, she absolutely loves it. It's been one of the only lime green cameras I've found, its her favorite color. =] I've had nothing but great experiences with Kodak EasyShare cameras, they are easy to use, long battery life, and take really great quality pictures. Better than my more expensive camera too, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, and I do have another birthday gift coming up, and will probably try a different color, I love the options!

Great for the price
Posted .If you're not in the market for a super-awesome-fab camera (in other words, if you're not prepared to drop $500 on a camera), this one would be a great one to go with. I haven't yet used the Share features, so I can't testify to their convenience, but it was one of the selling points of the camera, and I will be using them in the future. I had no trouble figuring out how to use the Share button, either--in fact, I discovered how to use all the features on my own while using the demo in the store. As far as photo quality goes, it's perfectly acceptable for my purposes; it's definitely better than taking pictures with my phone. The battery lasts a pretty long time, and I had no trouble connecting it to my laptop. I got it on a pretty good sale, so it was definitely worth the money.

Great Pic's
Posted .I have owned another Kodak Easyshare camera that I liked a little more. The picture quality is great but using this camera is a little difficult. Maybe I have to use it more to get used to the features but it seems to be more complicated than necessary.

Best bang for your buck
Posted .I purchased the Kodak M530 for $90 and have to admit it is one of the best snapshot cameras I've used at any price range. The screen is larger than most compact cameras. While not touch screen the buttons on the right are spaced well enough for ease of use. The zoom is alittle lacking but is well above what is expected in a camera under $100. The features are well presented and easy to access. I had to go thru a long, confusing menu on my last camera just to turn on the auto-timer or record video. Not with this camera, most features can be reached within 2-3 button presses. The face recognition works well and low light pictures look vibrant. I also love that it includes a rechargable battery that seem to have plenty of longevity. I have had the camera for over a month and only tend to charge it once a week.
