Krups - BeerTender - Black/Chrome

This was a great addition to my home bar. It is easy to set up and easy to use and provides a great "cold" beer. I would like to have more options for kegs, but love this product and it adds to the look of my bar in my man cave!

I purchased this for a Christmas gift for my husband. We love having cold draft beer available whenever want it. The beer tender does a good job keeping the beer cold and it pours with little foam. The only downside is that there are only 2 kinds of beer that can be used with this which really is a major downfall, but I still think this is fun and worth the money. It looks really modern which is ok, I wish there were some additional choices for the style. We have only been using ours for a month, but so far it's been great with no problems. I gave it four stars because of the limited choices in beer, but overall this was a good purchase.

This has been a nice addition to our entertaining and I would recommend it to everyone. The types of mini-kegs that work with this unit are Heineken/Heineken light and Newcastle. I buy mine from my local store and they come in two packs. If you ask them to keep them chilled for you, and even though the temperature light on the unit is not lit, the beer is nice and cold. From the cooler at the store, it takes about 6 hours for the light to go on, but don't worry about that. The tubes are cheap so nobody should be complaining about a new one each keg. I actually like that sanitation aspect of it, fresh tube with fresh keg.

It is very user friendly and gets the job done. The only major downfall of this great product is that it is trying to monopolize on their auto-pressurized kegs. You can only have Heineken, Heineken light, and New Castle with this kegerator. They are all great beers but if you are looking to drink other brews its a no go. So do your research before you buy.

I love this gadget for cold pub style draft beer. You can pour the amount that you want and the rest stays fresh. Also love that it takes the beer from my fridge space and keeps it at a perfect temp on the counter. Also great for parties anywhere you have power!

Very useful item for your household. Keep it by the couch and enjoy your Sunday sports. Only 3 kegs available in my CT-NJ liquor stores: Heineken, Heineken light, Newcastle (about $25 each) Pros: - Beer always available - Makes room in the refrigerator - Dudes love it when they visit you Cons: - You can't control temperature - My 1st one lasted for 3 years. This is my second. When 1st one broke down, manufacturer said it was cheaper to buy a new one than to fix the old one - regardless of diagnosis. - first couple glasses are always VERY foamy

I gave this as a gift and it was very desired. The only downside is that you can only choose from 3 kinds of beer. If you're not a fan of heineken or neecastle, this probably isn't for you.

The Krups Beer Tender is ideal for holding and serving a mini keg (5 liters). It takes very little space on the counter, and is very attractive. And keeps the keg very cold. Only limitation is that it serves only two beers, Heiniken and New Castle Brown Ale.
