Kuvings - SC Series Silent Juicer - Chrome

This is my second vertical masticating juicer after owning and using various high-speed models (Omega, Juiceman, etc) over the years and a horizontal machine (8004). What makes this better than my old juicers is the smartcap (no more dripping after you finish) and the patented cleaning tool (easier to quickly scrub off the juicing screen - the hardest part in cleaning any juicer) - I haven't seen any vertical juicer that offers both of these helpful features. These slow-speed masticating models are great for keeping the air/oxidation down and stop the juice from quickly settling out - I want my juice as fresh as I can get it. The juicer is great if you like to make mixed juices (typically my daily recipes) or juice softer items like fruit. If you juice a lot you'll know with time that any juicer will eventually break or wear out - I think its important to buy from a brand like Kuvings that stands by their product with a good warranty (10 years). If you don't have a lot of experience, its nice it comes with a recipe book but I haven't really had a need to use them given my extensive experience. I noticed they just came out with a frozen dessert/mashing attachment for the silent juicer - nice if you enjoy the multifunctional use similar to what you get with a horizontal machine with a blank insert - ice cream, purees, etc.

I decided to get a good juicer after reading an article about the store bought juice where it says that drinking this is as bad as drinking coca-cola! There are several types of these juicers in the market but I realized that only few brands like breville, omega, Kuvings and hurom, which are made in Korea, are the top level juicers. After checking their spec, I found that Kuvings is the best performing in terms of power, style and accessories like cleaning tool and juice cap. I have juiced apples, carrots, cucumber, pears, kales, etc. for two weeks after getting this machine. I am completely satisfied with the juice quality and the way it makes juice. It is very quiet (not silent but very quiet) and the cleaning tool is useful when cleaning the strainer. An investment I do not regret.

I researched juicers before getting this one because I wanted to get a quality juicer and be careful to spend $$$. Finally I chose Kuvings and I've had this model a few weeks now. I've juiced apple, carrots and oranges everyday and enjoyed the juice everyday. Overall, I am very satisfied with this juicer! Very quiet, Fun to use... Quality juice and nice looking on my counter! highly recommend this juicer!!

I am really enjoying this juicer. I am planning on a Bahamas trip in a month and started this juice diet. It’s been working really well and I’m feeling great! The cap for the spout is fun to work with, making mixed juices and stuff. I’ve been using this juicer for one month without trouble. It is easy and fun to make juice by this juicer, which encourages me juice everyday. Definitely quiet and make excellent juice, plus this chrome unit look real nice in my kitchen! I tried couple different recipes and no problem so far! Good luck to all the juice fasters!

i decided to buy this juicer after a long "hunt". Let me tell you, this is the best thing that i ever bought. I am very pleased with it, best juice possible. love it, love it

I've been juicing heavy for a year now. My juicer was an Atlas centrifugal from 1962. Very loud and violent. I was ready to upgrade and the Kuvings had the best reviews. After using it for two weeks I'm fed up with less yield and pulpy juice. I drink between 1-2 quarts per day and the Kuvings yields about 15-20% less than the old Atlas. The Kuvings is built well and is easy to clean but I don't like throwing my potential juice in the compost pile as wet pulp. I wish I could do over.

Makes excellent juice with fruits and veggies. Handles fibrous veggies with no problems

This is a great purchase. We reviewed a number of brands prior to our purchase and this one came out on top. It is easy to use, clean and assembly is about one minute. You get what you pay for with juicers and we are very pleased with our purchase.
