I picked this up for easier travel, and was really happy with it. It’s quite small. Being SSD, it’s really fast. They could have made the “short” cable maybe an inch or two longer, however. But I’m really happy with this drive. I used it for Photoshop work, and it works beautifully. I realize SSD are more expensive, but it seems they as long as they’ve been an option, they are too expensive for the space they offer.

Coming from having used Samsung's T1/T3/T5 series of external SSDs, I like this as it is more rugged versus the metal/plastic. As a photographer I find it easier to have this in my bag and not worry about it getting dinged/scratched. It is also faster than the Samsungs as well. Win win! There is the SSD Pro version of this, but there is a 2x increase in price with the 2x speeds, and 1GB/s for read/write is perfectly quick for me.
