Customers have good things to say about the DOCK Secure Docking Station for 13" MacBook Pro with Retina display. They appreciate the additional ports it provides, which allows them to connect multiple devices to their MacBook Pro.
I needed more ports for my MacBook Pro and came across this docking station. I now have all the ports I need...for now. Everything seems to work well. The only problem I had was the port for my wireless keyboard and mouse. I had to use the side port on my MacBook because there was a lag when I used one of the ports on the back of the docking station. Other than that I love it.

Works generally as advertised. I find it a bit sticky in terms of getting the laptop situated into the dock, it takes a kind of "just right." movement to get the laptop locked into the dock and the power cord situated. Once it's docked, seems to work fine. Be very careful when you order to choose the right size and ensure you ordered the right size. I have the 15 inch and I bought the 13 inch by mistake and had to return it and get the right sized one.

The dock has a slim footprint, so it doesn't take up much desk space. It elevates the Macbook a little over an inch in the rear, angling the keyboard towards the user in what I find to be a comfortable angle. Undocking the Macbook is easy, but docking it requires proper alignment or you risk scratching the sides of your Mac. The dock integrates your existing Magsafe power cord, so it does not provide power to the Macbook itself. A special driver is required in order for the Macbook to use the dock's ethernet port, but the download and install process was quite easy.
