I had a fan like this for many years and replaced it with this one. I really like that it has a thermostat so it turns on and off as the temp changes depending on how I set it. I also like the ability to have it blow air in or out or both. It fits solidly in my window.

It's quiet and powerful but only thing is it doesn't extend a lot.

Fan makes a clacking noise when running. Began at first use. Lasko doesn't have any phone support, so I've tried around 6-8 times to use their chat function online, but the estimated 15 minute wait usually turns into 45 minutes of more. I did get hold of someone once and went through all the recommended steps, model number, plug number, answering questions about how it was plugged in, etc. All to no avail. Who in the world has that much time to sit around waiting to "speak" to someone about a fan. I am returning to the store and will NEVER buy another Lasko product. Product is clearly defective and I am returning to the store where purchased. The End.
