I loved this second entry of the life of the Avatar series, the first being Nickolodeon's Avatar:The Last Airbender (Now available as a complete works collection on DVD and with 16 discs at a bb.c price of $30, don't be an Azula and blast past this) Literally everything was done better on this Four Book (A book is a Season) series, downside is the Books are half the episode count as ATLA, but great voice acting, cinematography, fight coordination to be in line with each Benders fight style (Air Nomads, Water Tribes, Earth Kingdoms, and Fire Nation all Bend with a unique form of martial arts unique to that style) and definitely the CGI and effects rendering. Two main concerns and one bothers me greatly 1. last scene of last episode of entire series makes subtle implications on a political stance. Had it been left at that I would have gotten over the quesy feeling it left for reading too much into it, but they follow each series with comic books that are done by the same creative team to further the adventures ir dive into ones simply mentioned in the shows (Where's Firelird Zuko's Mom at? Check out Smoke and Shadows Trade Paperback as example), and in the first comic collection following Legend of Korra my uneasy feeling becomes cemented as reality in their universe, grotesquely making past character favorites not only gay too but shunning any anti-gay relationship characters. This was pure nonsense they never ever would have gotten away with in the tv show, so I choose to block the last scene out, enjoy literally everything else in all episodes and promptly set fire to the comics swearing to never buy another as none of the ATLA books did anything so foolish and political agenda'ed. And 2. THEY NEVER EVER NAME THE WORLD. ITS NOT IMPLIED AS EARTH BUT ALSO NOT NOT IMPLIED. SEVEN BOOKS AND 8 YEARS IF COMBINED SEASONS OF BOTH SHOWS AND THEY NEVER BOTHER TO NAME IT. MOST IMPORTANT CITIES HAVE NAMES. THE SPIRIT WORLD AT LEAST IS GENERICALLY CALLED THE SPIRIT WIRLD SO WHY NOT EVEN CALL THEIR PLANET THE BENDERVERSE OR PLANET OF ELEMENTS (PELEMENT or PELEMATAR, IF YOU WILL) C and TM Names for current license publications submitted for approval on a third series I'm developing. Either way, block the 3 minutes of agenda, call it by my name or yours and just enjoy a fantastic show for all ages with the Collector Edition Bluray featuring 5 hours of bonus content available at Best Buy and online at bestbuy.com. Skip season by season purchase. NOTE IF YOU BUY BOTH SERIES COLLECTIONS CURRENTLY AT $30 and $25 YOU WILL GET A $10 GC BY ADDING IT TO THE CART IN THE SPECIALS LISTED UNDER TV SEASONS SO ITS LIKE GETTING 24 DISCS AND SEVEN SEASONS FOR $45. Act Now! Only at Best Buy! A-Zon will not match this deal nor will W-mart, gotta get it here because bb.c will price match item cost if it's lower at those places PLUS give you the $10 promo GC. Another reason to never shop elsewhere for electronics ir media!

The Avatar series is one of the strongest television shows to hit the air and the web in the last decade. With such a strong running, season 4 has high standards to meet to act as a satisfactory closing chapter. Season 4 stands out, especially in the context of a kids' show, for tackling issues like PTSD, rehabilitation, self-doubt, tyranny, finding peace in spirituality, forgiveness, and more. This is a show about diversity and strength in unity. It is worth watching and sharing with others.

I couldn't watch this show online when it was taken off of the air. The ads during the show on Nick drove me crazy. So, instead, I waited to buy the Blu Ray version of this final season. I already have all of the previous seasons and on Blu Ray so it was just a matter of holding out and not getting spoiled. As for the video quality itself, it's looks amazing, especially when compared to streaming or watching it on DirectTV. Neither can match the quality you are getting with this product.

Got for a mega fan of the series, but I have also watched it. This season was one of the best in legend of Korra. The show never quite lives up to the original Avatar the Last Airbender, but this season has interesting themes about inner struggle and nature/technology. I would recommend it to someone who has watched the rest of legend of Korra.

An awesome ending to an incredible experience, Book 4 is mostly high notes with some beautiful fight scenes, the PTSD storyline, and the beginnings of a new love. Yes, we get a clip show, but I realize it was made to keep the staff working instead of everyone's jobs ending an episode early. The 2-disc set is light on special features (not that I mind; I bought it to watch the show) but the audio and video have never been better!

Legend Of Korra: Book Four – Balance represents the end of the four-book series. While it has a storyline that is more related to modern technologies and their dangers, there are still plenty of old-fashioned action and drama. Personally, I think the first three books are slightly better than this one. However, I still enjoy watching Korra overcome her obstacles and end up saving the day again!

The legend of Korra book 4 is great entertainment value for what you pay and the blu Ray looks great. Even though a girl is the main focus my 9 yr old son loves the show and is always excited when a new season shows up..it has a decent balance of action drama and fun that makes watching with your child fun and relatable for a parent and before you know it your watching while he is at school..lol
