All 13 episodes of the first season of this Lego-crafted version of the Star Wars saga are available in this collection. The series follows three siblings known as the Freemakers, who sell ships that they rebuild themselves. After one of the Freemaker kids discovers what is known as the Kyber Saber, the whole clain becomes involved in an epic struggle between the Galactic Empire--helmed by Darth Vader (voiced by Matt Sloan) and Emperor Palpatine (Trevor Duvall)--and the Rebel Alliance, which includes Luke Skywalker (Eric Bauza), Princess Leia (Julie Dolan) and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams, reprising his role from the original film series). Throughout their journey, the Freemakers are tracked by an undercover Imperial agent named Naare (Grey Griffin), who uses her chameleonic abilities in attempts to procure the Saber crystals.

Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Bragg but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I found these films to be of the upmost in blu-ray quality. Considering that I bought The LEGO Movie, The LEGO Batman Movie, & The LEGO StarWars (Freemakers Season 1) all at the same time i got to dive into the LEGO Universe head on! I LOVED IT ALL! The Wit and humour is cut out for kids through adults! One thing I love the most is that while witty the films dialog will genuinely help children understand bigger words and comprehension. Ive seen it with my own eyes and heard it with my own ears! The visuals are great and the stories are what shines the most. Sure some backgrounds could have used more work, but what it lacks in visuals it makes up for in substance! Highly recommend the LEGO films to anyone at any age!
I'm not an uber Star Wars fan, but I decided to watch this show after my older brother recommended it to me. I'm so glad that I decided to watch it. The Freemaker family is a great addition to the Star Wars universe. The voices are fabulous, the scripts and stories are very well written, and the episodes are well paced. This show is enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended for Star Wars fans and for anyone who needs a good laugh. A++++
A worthy addition to the Lego Star Wars franchise!
If you are a fan of Lego, Star Wars, or Lego Star Wars, this series is for you. Likable characters, humor, and impressive visuals are throughout all 13 season 1 episodes. While the series is definitely aimed at a younger audience, there is enough for the entire family to enjoy.
The Blu-ray A/V quality is great, but special features are really lacking. There are two featurettes lasting only a few minutes. Included in the package are six exclusive character magnets (though this seems like a missed opportunity for an exclusive minifig like were in some past Lego Star Wars Blu-ray and DVD releases).
As an avid Star Wars fan, I'm always up for any Star Wars related content. But you never know about Star Wars cartoons and if they are well rounded enough to entertain adults as well as their target audiences. But I must say, The Freemaker Adventures are able to do just that. If you are a Star Wars fan, you'll surely enjoy this series.
I bought this for my son who had seen trailers on Youtube. It was actually pretty good and we wished there were more episodes to watch. I need to look into if there is another season of this coming out. We really like the Lego movies.
While a lego movie, this provides a great view of the Star Wars universe from a different perspective. This has been described as a series as if the story was told by someone using legos, therefore slightly blown out of normal story proportion but good.
Lego Star Wars cartoons are always a lot of fun, and this is a whole season about new characters, as well as some familiar ones. Lego Star Wars takes a lighthearted look at the galaxy. It's great for kids, but I'm an adult, and I like it a lot, too.
I would recommend this to a friend

Loved that lego movie
Bought the movie as a gift for my grandson who is a lego addict. I often watch movies and cartoons with him, but usually fall asleep. Gotta tell you, this was a great series. He loved it, but so did I. It was worth the price!
