Installed on a Presario V2000 notebook (from 2006). The stock battery that came with my notebook only lasted for about 3-4 years (up to 2010)... so from 2010-2012, I was running on AC power from the wall outlet ever since. If I wanted to use the stock battery, it would only hold a full charge for about an hour... AN HOUR (and gradually less with each use afterwards)! But after getting this fat, big, bad battery and giving it a full charge, I was able to take it to the Christmas party at my Aunt's house and it lasted from 1pm to about slightly past 8pm without needing to plug the thing in! (To be fair, I turned it off around 3pm to talk and to take pictures with the family, and again at 6pm to eat Christmas dinner.) Granted, I am using a light distribution of Linux (Linux Mint 13 XFCE), and only used the computer to surf the web, show-off some YouTube videos, and play some cool, simple games in front of the family... but I even around 8pm (7 hours into the party), I still had plenty of power to burn a CD... yes.... TO BURN A CD!!!! I probably would've gotten only slightly less-impressive numbers (battery life) if I was using Windows XP Professional which came pre-installed on my notebook... but hey... +7 hours, with energy left to spare? That's my proof that this battery does it's thing well!

It was larger than the original, so the computer is "propped" up now, but for a replacement... well let's just say this, my wife is no longer complaining that her computer is dying before she can get her stuff printed.

I had a battery exactly like this, and one of the lithium cell batteries broke. I did not want to risk tampering with it, so I bought this one. It lasts way longer than my old one.
