Please note, I received this laptop in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. The Lenovo Ideapad 310 laptop is a great option for someone on the go. It is light, weighing in at 4.85 lbs., and portable. It comes with a 2-cell battery (I get about 2 hours when gaming), so if you are looking for a longer battery life, you will need budget extra money for an upgraded battery. The Ideapad boots quickly and all applications that I have used run smoothly. This Lenovo laptop is packed with an AMD A12-9800P Quad-Core (7th Gen) Processor (the base clock speed is 2.5GHz, with a burst speed of 3.4GHz), AMD R7 integrated graphics, 12GB system memory, 1TB hard drive, and measures .9” thin. There is one USB 3.0 port with two additional USB 2.0 ports. It also has a built-in webcam that is perfect for skyping family and friends. Windows 10 operating system comes pre-loaded along with a 30-days trial of Microsoft Office 365. Overall, I’d say this laptop is great for tech lovers and basic users alike. It’s easy to use right out of the box with minimal set up but has the power that will make advanced users happy.

I purchased this for my 27 year old son who had a brain injury. He loves to use it to play games, check the weather, and watch movies. The DVD player was a must. Many laptops no longer have those. It is a great computer for him with a size that makes it easy to hold on his lap while in his recliner, yet large enough to make it easy to see. I like the lighter weight because there is less chance of him dropping it, since he only uses one hand.

Have had this several frustrating months. Issues with the card reader and slow performance, browser crashes and timeouts. The warranty only covers hardware and BB assumes I have software problems - even though I installed only Microsoft Suite and have run several virus programs on it.. Already returned an HP this year so I'm still trying to diagnose issues but would NOT get this PC again.
