Q: My screen is frozen and won’t shut down or anything! What do I do?!?!??
A: On the Chromebook keyboard press the Power button and the Reload button at the same time. Some flip style Chromebooks have the power button located on the side of the Chromebook. This forces the Chromebook to turn off and then back on.

Q: Can Microsoft word be put onto this computer?
A: There are two options for using Word or other MS Office products on this or other Chromebooks: 1. Use Office 365, which will require an active Wi-Fi connection (and, of course, a subscription to Office 365) 2. Use the Word app for Android In both cases, you will be using what amounts to a "starter" version of Word that does not include the full feature set of the standard Word software that you would install on a PC or Mac. However, for most people's needs, it is adequate. A: This Chromebook does not support a stylus. I tried everything I had and nope, it wouldn't work.
Q: Will I be able to use windows on it? And is it good laptop for a college student?
A: No. It's a Chromebook. Think of it as an Android device on steroids. It does not run Windows of any sort or flavor. It runs Android operating system. If you're looking for a Windows laptop/notebook, look elsewhere. But be smart ... don't get anything that only has a 32GB flash/HD installed. Windows 10 requires more space to install updates. But if you're looking for a device to get online, watch videos and reply to email, these work pretty good. Also, less likely to get a virus on one of these like Windows 10 computers. Software is limited to Chrome and some Android apps, so usage will vary.
Q: Can I download Microsoft word and use it to open/edit files while not connected to wifi?
A: Yes, you can download and install any Microsoft app from the google play store. If you have a file in a flash stick you can open it with out internet.
