Lenovo - 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 4GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive

I'm rating the Yoga 2 Pro 4 GB, but I traded it in for the 8 GB version. I loved this Yoga as soon as I opened the box. It felt and looked fabulous, loved the new backlit keyboard (new with this version), the flexibility of using it as laptop or tablet. It is just about perfect. The only issue that bothered me with the 4 GB version was how much of the advertised 128 GB storage was not available; once I got into it, I discovered only about 80 GB (80 out of 100 on C, 0 out of 4 on D; the rest of D, apparently, was hidden). I don't think it was bloatware. I had planned to use cloud or backup storage to supplement, but when Lenovo advertized a discount on the 8 GB RAM/256 GB storage Yoga 2 for only $150 more, I traded the small one for the bigger one. Using Windows 8.1 takes some getting used to (coming from a Windows Vista desktop) but gradually I am learning its advantages, and I actually like the tiles on the start screen. A really nice touch is 3 ways to log in -- password, picture with user-defined gestures and face (haven't tried that yet) plus a local log in if you don't want to connect to the internet. Have not yet tested battery life, but this one has the newest Intel chip which is supposed to help. All around, I am extremely pleased with the Yoga 2 Pro, can't wait to finish setting it up and really start using it for combo personal/business. I plan to use in tablet form to show inventory photos to customers and genealogy/photos to family, and in laptop form for document production.

I bought two ultrabooks for Christmas this year. This one for my wife and the Asus UX302LA for my father so I can compare them directly. I also own the Asus UX31A Zenbook from last year. After setting up both laptops yesterday, I have to say I'm very impressed with the Lenovo. Unlike the Asus it comes installed with Win8.1 so there was no need to upgrade. Also most of the updates were already installed. The display is fabulous. Very bright, super sharp. The keyboard is backlit and very nice to the touch. With the onboard SSD the laptop is very snappy. No lag whatsoever. If there were a few grips, they are very small. I wish there was more HDD space once everything was install. Just installing the basics including Office 2013 left the laptop with only 65GB of spare room. For my wife this is likely to be sufficient, but you don't realize how fast that 128 GB SSD will fill up just with Windows and a few essential programs. Of the three ultrabooks I've mentioned this is very likely the best of the bunch. Excellent display, excellent keyboard, overall nice execution!

Bought this brand new , the 4k display is amazing first off, great color depth and clarity. Its better than my tv for sure. Its very fast, takes about 6 seconds to boot up from a full shutdown, no waiting around for windows to load. The battery lasts a very long time I dont even charge it every day. Now on to the reason youre wanting to buy this thing in the first place, the freaking sweet "yoganess" this thing bends every which way use it as a laptop, tablet, tent mode, stand mode it works great amd knows which way you've put the screen to maximize usability, touch screen works really well also. It cost alot but before I bought this l had purchased a 600$ laptop and sold it after a year because it was terrible, spending the $ on something good like this is worth it for sure plus the interest free financing makes it super easy if you cant drop a grand in cash, overall I would say buy it if you're a windows user the touch screen makes the new format so much easier to navigate, I love it oh yeah and forgot, It can connect with all your phones to upload photos amd contacts and everything else you've got on there

Very few complaints, dpi is too big for some programs, and window 8 has it's own eccentricities to over come. Praise is much more, love the backlit keyboard, weight, screen size, battery life, the compact power pack, the list goes on.

This is a great alternative to a tablet and a notebook. Good battery life, great form factor, good performance and great screen. The only thing I would improve upon is the touchpad; it is a little shallow and can be a little difficult to work with, but the touchscreen mostly makes up for that.

This is great using as a tablet or notebook for small business or a student. It is light, has good processing speed, and overall great functionality. It is a little more than what I wanted to pay but it has met my needs thus far. The display is good and it has good battery life.

I was looking for a Windows ultrabook for the last two years, but was not happy with what was available until I sow Yoga Pro 2 13.3 inch. This product was exactly what I was looking for, light, fast with good size screen and excellent speakers. I use this computer mostly to read digital books and magazines, listen to music and internet radio, and watch Netflix/Amazon movies. My hope was to use this computer also for digital photography processing, but unfortunately Photoshop toolbar and tabs are almost invisible on 4k screen. Yoga has a zoom tool to be used in such situations, but in my case this was not a great experience. So I gave up using Photoshop on Yoga until they find a solution for this problem. With large screen, superb picture and sound watching movies on this computer is a great experience. I use this computer both in laptop and tablet mode with equal satisfaction. Reading books and magazines feels much more like reading printed versions as compare to tablets with up to 10 inches screen. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. The only shortcoming worth complaining about is the left side screen sensitivity. Sliding this side of the screen, on Windows 8, results in screen change. The problem is that even a slight touch can trigger screen change.

I bought this to use in nursing school and I am so glad I did! I love this laptop! It's very responsive, amazing battery life and extremely lightweight. I love that I can flip the screen around into different configurations. The light up keyboard is awesome. The screen size is perfect! This was well worth the money paid! So glad I went with this model!
