This model is the new Flex 5 and I got it as a replacement for a Yoga 710 15" that had a faulty hinge after 4 months of use. So far it performed basically identical to the Yoga 710; as a backup/travel CAD machine, screen space is adequate while not too heavy, speed is decent, no problem in handling large files or running Sketchup, Photoshop & Revit simultaneously. 3D display quality is fine and renderings run fine also. Should be OK for CAD use as long as there is plenty of storage available.
