decent system for the price
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendNeeded a quick replacement for an old workhorse PC that started dying on me. Didn't want to break the bank , I found this one and figured it was worth a shot. First the cons, get the bad out of the way first. Slower than it should be even with only 4GB Ram.Most times after sitting idle for a little while, it becomes very unresponsive when first trying to use any software. Open Firefox and there is a noticeable delay between mouse movement and clicking. It catches up after about 20 seconds and seems to run OK as long as you are actively doing something. It could use more USB ports but I knew what it had when purchasing so that's not anything unexpected. DVD drive feels really flimsy when opening and closing. Now for the positives. AS much as I hate Windows 10, it seems to be running better than expected after installing all my software. Haven't came across anything that is incompatible yet. Quiet system, fan is not overly loud or annoying. Decent size HD for the price. Seems to be pretty stable PC. Overall, for a sub $400 PC it performs as well as can be expected and even better in some areas. Boosting the RAM to 16GB is definitely a good idea.

Smooth, powerful, Quiet
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis computer was not my original targeted purchase, however as a second runner up and the store being out and store also unsure of when next shipment was to arrive, I purchased this instead. It was slightly more expensive, but well worth it. I do wish there was four USB ports in the front. There are no separate or designated areas for USB plug in keyboard and mouse. So in reality you have a total of 4 total USB that are useable, as two have to be used for the mouse and keyboard. Unless you go wireless (had a rocket fish, it stopped working after a few months). Overall: I would recommend this computer tower, just wish they would have given additional 2 USB since two are mandatory for keyboard and mouse.

Good Value for price
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this desktop for my dad's office. It was really cheap for the specs. The machine has everything that an above average user might need. Definitely not for gaming. It gets the work done and I'm pretty sure, this machine will hold its value for next 4-5 years. I bought my machine as an open box item, therefore it was even cheaper than the norma price. I faced a major issue after the first starup. An error came on while I tried to use the dvd. Error code cgx100 something. The PowerDvD 12 for Lenovo had a corrupt file. It took a few days for me to fix the issue. I had my patience to fix the problem, as I'm a developer and I have the 10 years of knowledge to solve issues. 4 out of 5 stars. Its a good buy.

Good home computer
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this device to have as our home pc, we already have a couple of laptops, but we needed to have a third device, this is a great little machine, for cruising the web, email etc, if your looking for a high end gaming device, this obviously isn't it, but for everyday use, this is a great machine, and a good price value. it hooked up to our home Wi-Fi within seconds, same with our printer we've only had it about a month, but so far its working really well.

Great for daily use!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI looked at a ton of computers and found this one with enough speed and memory to do my daily personal work, school work and if i needed to bring work home from my job. I have also played games on it with no problem but am not a huge gamer. I bought a second one with a larger hard drive and faster speeds for a second room because I loved this one so much. And that one was STILL a great price. I would recommend this computer.

Better value than laptops, if you can use PC.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe Lenovo H50 comes well equipped including Bluetooth and WIFI, and has Windows 10 pre-installed. Great value if you don't have to have a laptop.

Great Shell to Build Off of
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this computer open box, in order to continue to upgrade and install pre-purchased parts. It has blown me away how easy and up-gradable to unit was. My only gripes are that the Lenovo desktops require a very specific power cord to plug into the motherboard, which I had to purchase separately on Amazon; be careful when upgrading the power supply. The case itself is also quite small, so while my Nvidia 970 did fit, I am now unable to use a second hard drive because it is blocking the port.
Q: QuestionIs it good for gaming? Does it have a screen recoder?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer When I bought this my intention was to upgrade the video card for gaming but that proved to be problematic. Out of the box I can't say how the performance would be since I returned mine immediately. However I think you can get a good idea of where it would rank by looking up the specs for the integrated graphics and the entering that into Passmark or Futuremark websites to see their score. I spent a lot of time researching these recently and what I found was almost all the boxed units integrated graphics would rank dead bottom. The problem with the Lenovo machine is its not easily upgraded. Hope that helps a little.
