I initially purchased the A340 and returned it for this model, as the A340 had an inferior camera and was a bit slow. However, I was disappointed to find that the A540 did not have an optical drive. And although this A540 (i5 processor) is more responsive than the A340 (i3) it's still much slower than my Lenovo Yoga2 Pro laptop (i7). It was very easy to set up. I just have to get used to the slow startup time. Additionally, it's visually pleasing and has good speakers.
