Great mini-laptop.
||Posted .This version uses the same NIVIDIA processor as my tablet. It's a quad core, unlike the twice as costly Intel powered version, and only needs the 2mb of RAM it comes with. The touch screen is bright and fast. While you can bend it around into a tablet, thus the Yoga name, fewer apps are available than with an Android tablet. But, while it's difficult to print from Android, the minute I turned it on it installed the software for my network printer. As fast as my MacAir.

love the convenience of this ultrabook
||Posted .Being a mother of three and stay at home mom, I like to have things that can fit in with my teaching, as well as whatever I need it to do. Tablet mode is great for flashcards and storytime. I love that I have a small laptop that can meet my immediate needs. Now if I can get a disc drive for cheap, I will be completely satisfied.:)

So far so good if you don't mind RT
Posted .I only need a second (technically third if you count my work notebook) PC for web browsing and video skype. Needs to be lightweight to keep up with a two and a half year old toddler who enjoys cannonballs off the sofa. I purchased the Asus w/ E2, but it was VERY sluggish, even for my simple tasks. Found this Yoga on sale ($379 + $10 off w/ my rewards), so for ~$400 w/ tax, I thought I'd give it a try. I was actually very worried about the performance of the Tecra 3, but have to say it's not too bad. Certain web pages take a bit to load, but it's pretty much there after a sip of wine (ok, maybe a gulp). There is one very annoying nit however, the trackpad goes out periodically. I haven't looked around the web yet, but I'm assuming (or hoping) that Lenovo has figured it out and provided a patch. If they haven't, I'll probably be back to downgrade this rating, since that's a pretty fundamental bug. Other than that, it's pretty perfect for what I need it for. Oh yeah, don't expect too much from RT, but like I said, I only need this for web browsing and video skype, so sold!

Excellent combination of a laptop and tablet.
||Posted .Purchased for my son's birthday. Has what he needs for school and play. Small, light weight and combo laptop and tablet. Good price and great design. I plan to buy the same for myself except with the better chip and full windows 8 for business use.

If you're only browsing and reading books
Posted .because it's Windows RT, i can't download google chrome or firefox on my computer. I can play flash games like neopets, but I can't play on tetris friends for some reason (probably bc it needs shockwave?) i wish it would let me download the browser i want, and allow me to play some other games.. This laptop is good for people on the go who will browse the internet, read books, and write documents on office (it comes with its own version of microsoft office). you can download apps from the MICROSOFT app store (not any android app store or apple store). although, there are apps for kindle, nook, and there are a few other book readers..

A blend of Tablet and Laptop....Tabtop
Posted .You're paying for convenience when you buy this item. This tablet + laptop hybrid does a good job at blending the two, and it works well. The problem is it's not as good as either a tablet or laptop at doing their jobs. Windows RT prevents Lenovo from ever being a serious laptop. RT is basically Windows Mobile, and as such you can't install all the programs and applications you need on a traditional computer on this device, making it a completely inferior laptop. On the tablet side of things the Lenovo is priced much too high and there are tablets with equal specs. (Nexus 7) and even better for less (NVIDIA Shield). However, if you find that rare person who wants the convenience of tablet with the feel of a laptop, then buy a Nexus 7 with a keyboard case. If you need a bigger screen, 64GB SSD, Media Reader, USB ports, and more buy a real laptop on Black Friday, and save yourself the hassle.

Perfect size to carry anywhere
||Posted .Received as a gift. It turns from a laptop into a tablet which makes it convenient anywhere. I can use it on trips or just riding in the car.

Excellent - if you know what you are buying!
Posted .I've had the Yoga 11 for a few days now and my overall impression is very good. I have no trouble with Windows RT or the hardware on this device...however I think it important to note that I understood what my needs were and researched the device extensively (if I had not, I can see why some people may be disappointed because this is not a full Windows device#. The Yoga is great to hold, keyboard is comfortable and feels good. App store is adequate, I've found everything I looked for so I'm good! Apps run very well, internet browsing is quick. I needed something to replace my tablet and laptop with and this is it #I never use programs other than apps anyway and I'm usually a consumer of data on my devices, not a creator of data so this works#. If you are looking for something to replace your laptop and tablet in one, you don't use programs #excluding apps) and are interesting in a lean device for email, internet, and social browsing then the Yoga 11 might be for you!

Q: QuestionIs this good for word processing
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This Lenovo IdeaPad would be a decent choice for Word Processing. The only thing that would hold it back would be its relatively small hard drive space.

Asked by Shiny.
- A:Answer Look for the newer model, Yoga 11s. That will have Windows 8 installed, but with a full Intel Core processor, 4gb ram and 128gb ssd.

Q: QuestionIs this good to play minecraft on?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I doubt it, it only has 2GB of RAM and I'm not sure about the graphics processor. Check the Windows store and if they sell it for WIndows RT then it might. I would not recommend this machine for gaming. You'd need to purchase a high end Windows surface 2 if you want something portable that run Windows apps. This machine only runs Windows RT apps.

Q: QuestionWill this product work with Office 365?
Asked by Bob.
- A:Answer It come with office 2013 installed and connected to the cloud for free so I'd just use that. However, since you can only install apps from the Windows Store on your Windows RT device, you cannot install the version of Office that comes with Office 365. You can, however, still get to your email, access team sites, and work on documents by using the Office 365 portal. You can also use the Windows RT apps for email, contacts, your calendar, and messaging.
