Open Box item was a BRICK
Posted .Wow, ordered a "excellent condition open box" yoga 2 11 from Best Buy, and received a scratched, dented, floor model. And to top it off! It was LOCKED WITH BEST BUY ONLY ACCOUNT. Called customer service, geek squad could NOT unlock. I could send it back and get a refund in 10 days or so! Son's birthday is in 6 days, nice. DO NOT BUY OPEN BOX ITEMS!

Worth paying up for core I3
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI tried the Pentium version of this in the store and it seemed a bit laggy. The core I3 performs better and, if you're wondering, you can swap out the HD for an SSD. I installed a 256 GB Samsung EVO with no issues. Like some other reviewers, I'm not a fan of the Lenovo pre-installed applications so I just removed them and I'm still working out how to maximize the battery life. I really like how light and portable it is. For our purposes,(music streaming, kitchen recipe viewing) it's a good machine.

Everything that I needed it for
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI purchased this tablet/computer after getting frustrated with my I Pad not being compatible with my work needs. I originally wanted a tablet with a touch screen that could also run Office. However, I was sold on this COMPUTER since it was compatible with apps and regular computer software and therefore could be updated with newer technology as needed. I use this mainly for business on the go and couldn't ask for anything better. The dual screen feature makes creating and altering documents from email information incredibly easy. Having both a touch screen and mouse option is something I won't be able to live without now. I love how quickly the computer turns on, the size and weight of it! For anyone who simply needs more than a tablet can offer, but doesn't want to carry around a large computer every day this is the perfect compromise! It can sometimes get finicky with the touchscreen keyboard and switching back and forth between open applications but it is nothing that I haven't moved past quickly and easily.

Great Laptop/Tablet for Business and Personal Use
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis nifty little tablet/laptop was exactly what my wife was looking for. She conducts a lot of presentations as a Realtor and she was using a 15.6" widescreen laptop with her clients. While the laptop was/is nice, it was simply too bulky and inconvenient whilst at a coffee shop or even at a client's home. We searched and came across the Yoga and was completely sold once we were able to play around with it. It is quite light and compact, allowing my wife to utilize her designer work bag that she loves more efficiently. The laptop never could fit before, so she was using a work bag and a laptop bag. Now, the Yoga fits conveniently in the middle slot of the work bag that I assumed was meant for a tablet. She says she doesn't even feel like it's there most of the time. When she does presentations, her favorite part is folding the Yoga backwards, from a laptop to a tablet, and passing it to her clients to view pictures, analytics, statistics, comps, etc. When she gets home to complete paperwork, she folds it forward and uses it as a laptop on her desk. She's really happy with it, and therefore I am really happy with it. It's an ingenious product. We've had laptops, iPads and Galaxy Notes previously, and this little Yoga gives us the best of all of those combined in a more user-friendly package that accomplishes everything we were looking to achieve. Kudos to Lenovo.

Lightweight,Fast with a Nice Screen
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendComparing to my Toshiba (14" screen ) which I still use for internet connection as this new computer is too slow with my 3 g Telcel. But when I am connected via modem it seems fine. The problem is that I use the 3g Telcel more. I also get frustrated when I am typing on it and some how touch something with my right finger that skips me into another page. I am a little uncertain about the capability of folding as there is no protection for the keyboard if you use it for a pad. But I do like the way it can bend in any direction for ease of use. My Dell travel computer died so this is its replacement. The Dell had a lot smaller screen and keyboard and seemed a little heavier but it was smaller in size. Other than these issues I like this computer and the things I mentioned above make it a great travel computer.

It's small and portable.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendOverall, this is a decent little computer. I love the ease of portability. I even got used to Windows 8.1! Love the touch screen, too. Screen is small, but that's okay with me. I wish it were a bit faster. And I have trouble with the mouse having a mind of it's own. At random times it decides to chase some cheese, visible only to it, all over the screen. I have to reboot a few times to get it under control.

Great computer; Convenient with tablet option
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI am enjoying the computer. The track pad is smooth and easy to use, yet can be turned off if desired. I like the fact that it can be used in multiple positions. It is very light and portable. The battery is long lasting. It is very user friendly. I do not like that there is no CD drive. I had to go buy an external in order to be able to download CDs for iTunes and to watch movies that aren't already digital. Kind of a pain. There are only 2 USB ports, would nice to have at least 3.

Great overall laptop; small complaints
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this laptop about two months ago primarily for school, but I also wanted it for leisure (netflix mainly). I absolutely love the versatility of the laptop and especially the stand mode. The complaints I have with the PC is mainly the design. When I use the keyboard, the edge of the laptop is slightly elevated and hurts my wrists after prolonged use (many many hours). Also, the mousepad is annoying. Anytime I want to select the text by dragging the mouse, the whole screen resizes. It's not a big issue when using the internet (I quickly use CTRL-0) but in word documents it just makes me lose my spot and just plain annoying. Also, the screen is taken up by a large border that takes up like 20% of the screen. Again, not a big problem but it was annoying at first. I am also annoyed by all the preinstalled software that I have to first check and then delete to free space.
Q: QuestionIs this laptop able to use or compatible with a digitizer pen?
