Customers are impressed with the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 laptop's speed, light weight, and long battery life. They appreciate the touch screen and build quality, and find the price reasonable for the performance they get. However, some customers have experienced issues with the hinge breaking after light use.

Upfront, note that this is a 14" model WITHOUT a dedicated side number pad. If this is important, get the 16" version. I like this size and can do without the number-pad. This a tradeoff I knew about previously and gladly accepted. 14" display is perfect for me. This 14" Yoga is portable and has extended battery life. There are things that need to be done to Windows 11 to suit me and someday soon I will put a section on my website describing all the settings changes I do to Windows 11 to make it more to my liking which I also do to customers' computers I set up. Lenovo Yogas feature metal instead of plastic, non-obtrusive sliding lens cover on their webcams, sturdy hinges that folf back completely for additional configurations (tablet, "tent"). Very bright display which can be adjusted where you adjust the volume. Windows 11 comes set to change the brightness automatically but I disable this because how does Windows 11 know how bright I like it? One of many settings I change with the new Windows. Off the bat, go to Setttings>Updates and manually check to get caught up on updates. Then open Lenovo Vantage and do all the "System Updates" it recommends including the BIOS. Close all other open programs before installing the BIOS update. Doing it now, if something goes wrong, you are still in the return Window. Wait it out - don't get impatient and do something stupid like shut your computer off during a BIOS update. All in all, you can't beat this machine for speed, features and price. Wish you knew me so I could do your Windows setup correctly. :)

I think a huge plus with this laptop is how light weight and thin it is. I was searching for something to replace my old gen surface go from 4 years ago and loved the portability with it. But, with that I was also looking to replace my Hp Envy that was super powerful. So, something light and could take heavy programs. I think this laptop was a good option. With the i7 evo inter grated into this laptop, it makes it so fast. I also didn’t notice the finger print sensor for easy log in! The laptop comes with a 720p webcam and a protective cover to cover the webcam when not in use. The webcam is okay, had to play around with the settings to fix the lighting but as long as you can clearly see my face there isn’t much of a problem. The cover can get annoying at times, sometimes it slides back to cover the camera and I catch myself sliding it back. I got this laptop on sale and it was super worth it!!

I fell in love with Lenovo Yoga's when I first got the Yoga 700-14ISK and I still use that laptop. I just wanted something newer last year, and all I knew was I wanted another Yoga. I ended up going with this one and it's even better. A smaller unit overall, but the actual screen size is almost the same thanks to the smaller border around it. The core i7 is absolutely fantastic. I don't really use the touchscreen, I hate having smudges on my screen. One of the other more expensive Yogas came with a stylus which I would probably make more use out of the touchscreen with, but I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars more for that. The one complaint I have about it is the speakers. Not the sound quality, but the placement of them. Upward-facing speakers are the worst as dirt or crumbs can easily get packed into the small speaker holes along either side of the keyboard. Other than that, fantastic laptop and I 100% recommend it to anyone in the market for one. Really any Lenovo Yoga is a solid choice. One of my coworkers asked me for a laptop recommendation and I gave him the link to this laptop and he tells me every time we talk how much he loves it.
