Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Got this for my son as a gift and he loves it... The ultra-slim compact design and longer battery time give him all the speed and portability that he needs. The garaged active digital pen is a nice and unique feature to allow my college artist to draw whenever he feels like to. The NVMe SSD is definitely super fast, full-HD screen, despite not being 4K, still looks crisp, would highly recommend it.

Quality2 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use1 out of 5I should've known better. I keep getting reeled in by Yoga specs, and every time there is some problem from the start. This one is no different. But this time I'm returning and not going to bother with Geek Squad or the mess that is Lenovo factory service. 1) Second time I started up the machine, the screen was bright, blinding green. Only thing that made it go away was restarting computer. 2) 3rd time I tried using machine, fingerprint scanner did not recognize me. Had to use pin to sign in. Now it's a crapshoot each time I try starting the computer. Sometimes scanner works, sometimes it doesn't. My fingerprint hasn't changed... 3) Also 3rd time I started up computer (after using pin because fingerprint didn't work), the screen was bright red/pink. This time it reverted back to normal after a minute or so. 4) Still third time using computer, now when I scroll vertically on websites, the screen will momentarily turn black. This also happened with my Yoga 900. 5) Uncomfortable keyboard. Surface is too hard after using Yoga 900 rubberized board, and the edge is really sharp, as mentioned in another review. My hands feel weirdly overextended or cramped when typing. I honestly can't figure out which. Only that they start to hurt while using this keyboard. Sound quality is nice, speed is good. But display problems out of the box is too reminiscent of my Yoga 900 and Yoga Pro 2. Not going to deal wit the hassle again. Tried out a Dell XPS 2 in 1 today and I'm going to order one. My last Dell had almost no issues until the hinge broke. All my Yogas have been beautiful to look at, but too many technical problems and no support at all from Lenovo. it's an awful company. Returning.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga C940-14. Concerning the screen image issues you mention, be sure the latest version of Windows 10 is on the computer. Then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest Windows 10 version. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. If the issues continue, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support for specific help with your issues at: 877-453-6686.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5This is a great light weight ultra portable. I use this mainly as a secondary laptop to take with me on the go. When at home, i plug this to an external GPU enclosure and it now turns into a pretty decent gaming laptop. I generally get around 8-9 hrs of on use time with light web browsing with screen dimmed almost all the way down (2nd setting to the lowest) The other thing i really like about this laptop is the sound bar that is integrated into it's hinge. It sounds pretty good. Around the same sound fidelity as low end Bluetooth speakers except a bit lower on the base. This is a huge improvement on most laptops i have used in the last 10 years and makes great for a media consumption device. A bit of the down side now. The screen color is a bit washed out in my opinion. I would have liked a bit more saturation and this really noticeable when gaming or watching very colorful media. I would have liked one more USB-C thunderbolt 3 ports on the right hand side so i dont have to plug in everything on the left. However this is done on purpose because they hide a very usable stylus (that is charged while inside the laptop) on the right side.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I received this as a gift and was not disappointed this laptop is a great little machine the screen is big enough not to feel cramped but small enough not to feel like its huge. The pen that stores in the hinges is a great addition to the laptop. The sound is amazing, best sounding 2 in 1 laptop of this size I've heard! I highly recommend it the only thing it doesn't have that would make it any better is a few more USB-C ports there are only 2 and discrete graphics card. But other than those two things which I don't need, it would just be nice. I highly recommend it!

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga C940-14 ships with the energy efficient Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, with advanced power management. The Yoga C940-14 also has a superior cooling system, The Intelligent Cooling System, to keep the Yoga C940-14 running at optimum temperatures. At low workloads, the cooling system is so efficient, you will barely hear the fan run. Be sure you have Intelligent Cooling turned on within the Lenovo Vantage Utility software. Second, be sure there is no software working in the background driving the workload up. You can use Task Manager to find out what programs are running in the background. Here is a link to instructions:  https://it.toolbox.com/blogs/acitodg/how-to-find-hidden-programs-running-in-the-background-020615. The normal maximum operating temperature of the Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor is 100-degrees Celsius/212 degrees Fahrenheit. Here is a link to the SPEC sheet on the Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor. We recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support if you have additional questions at: 877-453-6686.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I loved every bits of this machine but I am just astounded by the sound quality. However I am concerned by the durability of this device. Performance is top-notch, amazing touch screen but the tip of the built-in stylus is plastic and I wonder how the screen would hold up to scratches over the time since I write a lot on this 2-1 device. And secondly I knew there might be thermal issues with such sleek design but I never expected fan kicking in while I am browsing the web and doing my assignment. I mean it's a 10th gen i7 I understand but the thermal efficiency is terrible. I hope this gets fixed as soon as possible. I wonder what will happen if I push the device to its max potential. Overall I am satisfied with this device.

Edge of Laptop is VERY uncomfortable

Quality4 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use2 out of 5This is my 3rd Lenovo Yoga. I've had problems galore with the first two, but things I liked and lack of competition led me to purchase this latest iteration. So far it's working well (which I can't say for the first two Yogas I owned, both of which had problems out of the box). The biggest issue I have with this c940 is the edge of the laptop was very poorly designed and apparently not intended for people that actually use the track pad- it cuts into the palm of my hand, making it very uncomfortable to use. I use the trackpad almost exclusively when browsing or reading my email, so this may be a dealbreaker. My last Yoga (900 13ISK) has a rubberized deck with an outer lip that is angled down, away from the deck, making it very comfortable and unoticeable to use. The 940 has a hard plastic deck and the edge is stupidly angled up, creating a sharp edge. It's like they didn't bother to have anyone actually test out using this thing. When I'm browsing the web, I leave the tips of fingers on the trackpad with palms resting against the edge. With the 940, this causes me pain. I've never had a laptop with such a sharp edge. Very disappointing. One other thing already noticed- the video playback is very dark. I can't make out faces or clothing details of darker toned people or clothing. I compared it side by side (same video) with my Yoga 900, and it's noticeably different. That's with brightness at highest on both machines. While my 900 is a 4k display, I'd think the newest Yoga with HD would at least have display properties decent enough to illuminate a standard video. Not sure if I'll be keeping this or not.
