Q: Will Oblio sanitize a phone that does not have wireless charging and how do you know if it is sanitizing? Literature and manuals do not say anything about whether functions are independent or whether it will only sanitize when charging wirelessly.

A: You know its sanitizing because the UV light is on (glows purple). We have LG Stylo 4 and 5 phones in our house. Both seem to trigger the sterilizing function when dropped in without their external add on charging coil and with out an external case With a protective case on neither phone trigger sanitizing light and its intermittent whether the phones charge when they have an after market charging coil inside the case My feeling is that thickness and materials used in the external case cause too large an airgap for reliable operation. Maybe better charging coils and thinner cases will solve the issues or simply a phone built for wireless charging

Nice wireless charger and sanitizer
I picked this item up a week ago and have tried it with various devices in our house and really love it! We are remodeling our living room and my spouse totally approves of the design - very nice and sleek! This is a must for a house with more than a few devices, especially when we all know killing germs is more important than ever. Another thing people may not know is that it takes 20 minutes to run the sanitization cycle, and if you turn music on your device before you drop it in the charger, it will make the music sound louder like when you put it in a cup, etc....

Beautiful design and amazing functionality
Bought this product to use as a wireless charger and for the handy sanitizer feature. The design is so pretty, sleek and easy to use. I love how pretty and discreet it is. It looks amazing sitting on my desk and makes me feel good that it is sanitizing my phone daily. YEAH!!

Sleek Wireless Charger
Wow! This Wireless Charger with the built in sanitizer is really great. I wanted a wireless charger that keeps my phone stable - which this certainly does as the phone sits right inside of it to charge. The sanitizing feature makes sure my phone is safe and has been quite the topic of discussion! It charges my phone quickly and because it looks sleek, it fits on my counter and isn't a bundle of cords which I used to have there. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a sleek wireless charger and wants to keep their phone clean! Enjoy!
