Great Microwave!

I was a little concerned that a full sized plate would not fit inside (it looks extremely small) but it fit just fine. The options are easy to use and it looks nice too!

Exactly what I wanted...very happy with it!

We had this "built-in" to the cabinetry, and it looks perfect and it meets all our requirements. It's been perfect for our family's needs and the price was great too!

Very good compact microwave
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace an old "under cabinet" type microwave that we had installed on an integrated shelf within our cabinets. Hard to find microwaves with such shallow depth these days, so there is not much choice. This one fits well in the space, works as well as any other compact microwave, and coordinates with our other modern appliances. I do use a microwave daily for reheating, thawing, and cooking things like oatmeal and ramen, but not big meals, so I don't need a big appliance.

EASY TO USE AND CLEAN. HEATS AS EXPECTED. MICROWAVES EVERYTHING FROM POPCORN TO CLAMS TO LEFTOVERS PERFECTLY. HIGHER WATTAGE WOULD BE GREAT BUT NOT POSSIIBLE FOR A SMALL MICROWAVE. THE STAINLESS STEEL EXTERIOR MATCHES THE REST OF MY KITCHEN APPLIANCES.

- A:Answer Hi Nerves. Thank you for your inquiry. The External Dimensions for the LG - 0.7 cubic foot Compact Microwave, Model # LCS0712ST are 17 9/10" x 10 1/6" x 12 1/5" (W x H x D) and you can pretty much use those as the footprint because underneath the unit, you would place rubber pads to prevent the unit from sliding around but there is hardly any clearance between that and the chassis. It is pretty flush to whatever platform it would sit on...IFV

- A:Answer It is recommended that you have allow for at least 4 inches of space at the top, sides and back of the LG - 0.7 Cu. Ft. Compact Microwave - Stainless-Steel, Model # LCS0712ST for free air flow around the microwave for proper ventilation and the air vents have to be kept clear during cooking to prevent the unit from overheating. If the unit overheats, a sensitive thermal safety devise automatically turns the unit off and the microwave will remain inoperable until the unit has cooled off sufficiently...^IFV

Q: QuestionIf you put this microwave in a box, what would be the depth you'd need for it to fit, including all protrusions on the front and back of the oven?I bought a freestanding shelf with no back and 2 front glass doors. I want to store this microwave there when not in use and would like to know the exact depth of it, including any protrusions on the back or front. I will need to close it behind the shelf doors when not in use.

Since the LG - 0.7 cubic foot Compact Microwave, Model # LCS0712ST is a counter-top unit and is not designed to be installed in a box, we would not have any dimensions to give in that regard. However, we can provide you with it's exterior measurements which are given as: Exterior (WxHxD) 17 9/10" x 10 1/6" x 12 1/5". If it helps, the carton that the unit came in had the following dimensions even though those would include the protective styrofoam padding: 21 1/4" x 11 1/2" x 15 1/2"...^IFV

- A:Answer It's actually more of a dark steel grey. Take another look at the image. It's not stainless but takes on the appearance somewhat.
