- A:Answer Nope, no timer, I'll be returning it today for that reason. It's 2020,I mean how in the world do you make a microwave without a timer?

- A:Answer Yes, it does. If you’ve previously had an LG over the range microwave, then it could be the same too. I just had to replace mine that I bought in 2013 and it had the same mounting bracket which made upgrading a breeze.

- A:Answer The LG 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV1764ST vents through its vent grille located on the top front of the unit when it is setup for recirculating venting. It is defaulted for roof venting when shipped from the factory and it can also be setup for wall venting...^IFV

Q: QuestionDoes this microwave include a timer setting? I sometimes use just timer setting for reminders, not necessarily for cooking purposes.

- A:Answer Once cook time has been entered, you can also use the power level pad as a second Kitchen Timer by entering “0” for the Cook Power. The oven will count down the cooking time you set without cooking. ^Daphane

Q: QuestionDoes this vent out of the front (not the top) of the microwave? We do not have any kind of vent opening or availability in the cabinet above where the microwave is being installed.

- A:Answer In recirculating mode, the LG 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with EasyClean®, Model # LMV1764ST vents through the vent grille that is located on the top front of the unit. It has a depth of 15 11/16" so if you have standard upper kitchen cabinets (wall cabinets), that should not be an issue. It will only be an issue if your upper kitchen cabinets are custom kitchen cabinets that are deeper that 15"...^IFV

- A:Answer This unit has a plug. The oven is designed to operate on a Standard 120V/60Hz household outlet. Be sure the circuit is at least 15A or 20A and the microwave oven is the only appliance on the circuit. It is not designed for 50Hz or any circuit other than a 120V/60Hz circuit. ^Daphane
