I really loveD our new LG fridge that I bought back in 2017. Suddenly, almost exactly 3 years later, something is wrong: The top fridge is not cooling properly! Strangely, the bottom freezer is still working. I called LG Tech Support and they had me troubleshoot some steps. We found out that the fridge door is not "connecting properly" to the fridge (or something like that). I put a magnet next to a spot near the top right where I simulated the door closing, and reached in with my hand to see if the cold air was coming in -- nope. Although they have that 10 year compressor warranty! (yes it's still good he said) this door problem is out of the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. DOH! Thank goodness I bought the darn Geeksquad 5 YEAR service!! So now, I'm holding for the next rep to schedule a service.. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, I will say this unit is so sleek and very spacious for such a small appliance! I really think it holds more food than a regular 20+ cu ft! Let's just see how the warranty goes.

This refrigerator is counter depth and fits my small kitchen perfectly. it's deceptively large in terms of what it holds.
