I bought this during one of Best Buy's Deal of the Day sales because I wanted something to use for our family reunions. The speaker is more the adequately loud for large open spaces indoors and outdoors. It only runs off a wall plug, but that was expected when you're asking for this much sound. There is a microphone input (haven't used it), an Aux input (red and white RCA cables), a CD player, and Bluetooth. I have been using Bluetooth and it works great. Only thing is that you need to manually connect your phone (via settings) because it doesn't autopair each time. This speaker also has some features that would have been cool if I were still 16, but are pretty odd for a Hi-Fi speaker that costs this much. First, there is the colored disco light. It does a really good job of lighting up a dark room and is a cool feature, but I won't be using it much if ever. Next there is a wheel on the top that when you spin it makes turntable scratching noises. I'm not sure professional DJs even use this technique anymore, so this seems really outdated to me. Finally, there is a bar that slides front-to-back on top of the device. This creates a siren that goes faster as you move it farther and eventually turns into an explosion. Another out-dated party sound in my opinion. To be honest, if you scrapped those three features (and maybe the CD player) then this would be the ultimate Hi-Fi PA speaker for events or college parties. Then again, maybe it already is the ultimate speaker for college parties...

Bought this for my Daughter's outdoor wedding after finding out how much DJ's charge. Incredibly loud and clear. Great bass, mid range and tweeters. This thing absolutely blew me away! There is no way to explain how incredible this thing is!! And the best part is we could hook different phones to it through either a cord or bluetooth. So no worries about someone not being able to hear a song they wanted. And on top of all that I got to keep it and it plugged straight into my iMac so I can blast tunes while I pay bills. It is so loud, clear and clean sounding that I can rattle our house and not even be able to hear the door bell. I cannot say enough good things about this system and i still have more to learn from it that I have not even used yet!! Simply incredible!!!

I bought this for my teenage daughter. This is a fairly large unit. It has handles on the side to make it easy to move around but it is somewhat heavy. It has some fun features such as the lighting and sound effects. My daughter loves it. It's easy to plug in other sources and I was very surprised by the sound. I could happily live with this as my stereo/home theater set-up.
