I have had this LG projector for over 1 year now and it performs great. I am able to project a 100+ inch picture in 1080p format and only a couple of feet from the wall! I wish it was easier to position the projection on the wall/screen with a zoom but once you have it positioned well, it is fine. Another challenge is finding a table top that is low enough so that the projection doesn't end up too high up on the wall. Once you solve this challenge, everything is great. You can't get a TV of this size and price so if you are looking for a large picture and 1080p is good enough for you then this is the projector to get.

So I purchased this projector, and I had mixed feelings about it after setting it up. Pros: * Projects in the front of you, instead of behind. * LED bulb so lasts a really long time. * Not bad speaker for the size of the projector. * No mounting needed, just set down and project. Cons: * Not every bright, even only projecting 15" from the wall. Can't use in daylight, or even dust. Has to be pitch black for it to be seen. Forget about turning on any lights at all, it will wash way the screen to the point you can't make anything out. * Price point. This is definitely not worth the asking price of $1300. Was not even worth $1100 when it was on sale. It's worth more like $600 IMO. * Image is not as clear as a normal 1080 TV. * It has 3D support, yet does not come with any 3D glasses. So make sure you already have a pair. I would only recommend this, if you are only going to watch at night. Also not looking for a HD projector, as it does not feel HD at all. It looks great at night, just not what I expected. Here are 2 images, one lf during average day light, and one at night. So you can decide.

This little projector does need a pretty dark room for best picture quality. However, if your room is darkened, the picture quality is GREAT! I love the LG WebOS based user interface (with Netflix, YouTube, etc) and the long-life LED bulb combined with the ability to show 120 inch picture from only about 20 inches from the wall. Overall, a great value and I'm very pleased with it!
