A: UPDATE: The sub was too close to my router, I moved it to near my couch, about eight feet from the sound bar and router, have had zero problems. Turns out the signal from the router interferes with the signal between the sound bar and sub.

To turn off this function, press and hold NIGHT OFF on the remote control for about 2 seconds. Then the standby LED (Red) blinks once and you cannot control this unit by your TV remote control. Your cable remote is not compatible with the SK4D. ^CP
