Great refrigerator for the price point and size

Can’t find any issues with it…perfect counter size for my needs and helps to avoid losing items in back of shelves. This all comes with caveat that it was only recently purchased so I can’t speak for durability at this point…

No more waste

We were skeptical at first about getting a counter depth unit, but it has been amazing at helping us to be mindful of what we have on hand. Since we've had it, none of our food has gone to waste due to being "lost" in the back of the fridge or freezer. We also love the dual ability to get ice from the dispenser as well as the container below. And it fits beautifully in our new kitchen. Best purchase we could have ever been "stuck" with.

The only thing I am still getting used to having an ice tray for catch the cubes instead of just pressing the button and they appear. It is great though when you need more than just a few ice cubes

Still loving my Fridge

The counter-depth fridge is perfect for my kitchen, although I’m still discovering all of the great features. So glad I found the patience to buy what I loved vs what was readily available.

||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Pros: 1) Love the look of the stainless steel 2) The smudge proof finish is awesome 3) Ample amount of space Cons: 1) *Very noisy compared to my previous Samsung Fridge which was a 10 year old replacement! LG shod make this fridge quieter!! 2) The front panel lights come on when you open the fridge door. This might affect future reliability. LG should have a way to turn of the display lights as an option for customers. 3) I drained 3 gallons of water and still the plastic taste. It took another 3 gallons for the plastic taste to go away.

Q: QuestionLooks like this fridge produces way too much ice for our use (dual ice makers, 6.5 lbs per day). Does the unit shut off after the buckets are full and not start overflowing and freezing up like my older GE? Can you shut-off all ice production?

- A:Answer Both ice makers have an off switch. I keep the freezer one turned off so we can use the space for food rather than ice. We just have the fridge one running and we've had no overflowing even though we rarely use the ice.

- A:Answer This fridge is awesome when it comes to fingerprints--none show up. I owned this fridge and a stainless steel one from Samsung and I'm constantly cleaning the Samsung because every fingerprint shows! The LG finish is great for daily use and it really goes well with all of my stainless steel finish appliances in my kitchen. You will enjoy this fridge!

Q: QuestionThe height of my cut out space for LG LFXC22526S is 70 1/8 inches because of an overhead cupboard. The information re: specs says that you need 70 3/4 inches to install. Will the Frig fit in the space I have. Thank you for your time.

Smart wi-fi Enabled French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator, Model # LFXC22526S has a height of 68 3/8" to the top of the case which is the part of the refrigerator that typically fits under overhead cabinets. The recommended installation clearance for above the refrigerator to allow for a sufficient airflow around the refrigerator is 1" so you would need 69 3/8" for the refrigerator to fit. it will fit in a space that has a height of 70 1/8"...^IFV

Q: QuestionI bought the LG - 22.1 Cu. Ft. Model:LFXC22526S installed up against a wall on the right side. The frig fits in the opening but the right door just barely opens about 35% before it binds on the wall. Any suggestions? Shouldn't it open almost full at 1/8"?
