A: Not an issue. When they deliver, all the front doors (Fridge and Freezer) are off. They assemble once inside. I was nervous about that, but they did a fantastic job!

A: Pretty cool. I got an email letting me know that one of the kids left the door open. The app shows temperatures as well.
A: Totally agree with you. I hope someone from LG sees your coment. A fridge of this price? Nonsense.
A: The fridge is almost 40" deep, the freezer when opened adds another 23", plus you have an inch or two behind the fridge for air circulation. Figure a minimum of 65" to open the largest compartment. The freezer drawer is further out from the fridge than the fridge doors when they are open.
Q: Does lg ice makers produce cylinder shaped ice, instead of crescent moon, as most ice makers do/
A: The ice maker in the LMXS30796S produces crescent shaped cubes. ^CP
A: Exchanged for a new one. New one was much faster to cool down and sustains it's temps better. Saw the front door bin get up to 45 late one night when no one was using the fridge, but it's possible left overs from dinner warmed up the fridge at that point before it cooled down again because by morning it was 38 and today it's between 33 and 35 which is perfect. Hoping it'll stay like this.
A: We had issues as well when we first received it, took several days just to get a couple batches. I read on LG's website where it says to turn the freezer down to -4 degrees, the factory setting is 0 degrees. Once we turned it down to -4 we have had plenty of ice for a family of 4 adults ever since.
