Q: Questionwhats the diferents betwen 120Hz and 240Hz
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer 60Hz, 120Hz, 240Hz and 480Hz are all referred to as the refresh rate of an LCD backlit television. Refresh rate is the number of times the screen is redrawn (refreshed) in one second. For example, a TV with a refresh rate of 60Hz refreshes the screen 60 times per second. Moving pictures are sequences of still images (frames) that are displayed on the screen in succession to result in the moving picture you see. Motion lag, subtle blurring and/or judder can occur, usually when the image is a quickly moving on. This is due to the frame rate conversion struggling to keep up with the speed of the programming content. Increased processing to 120Hz, 240Hz or 480Hz can eliminate or lessen the effects of these problems. The faster refresh rates are ideal for programming such as sports and action movies that contain scenes with fast moving pictures.
