Due to COVID-19 I was required to work from home and I was getting a lot of headaches from eye strain from looking at the company's laptop screen and my two BENQ 19" monitors from the 90's. I replaced them with this huge monitor and what a difference. The colors are crisp, the refresh rate at @75Hz can be noticed right away. The brightness and balance are great out of the box and optional picture modes are great features. I work mostly with MS Office applications and I can fit up to 3 windows in this monitor which allows me to multitask more efficiently. I no longer feel eye strain and headaches after a work day using HDR mode. During off work hours I read the news and watch YouTube videos at high resolution. No complaints. I hooked it up to a my gaming PC with NVIDIA GTX 1070 at max settings and with gaming mode ON and FreSyn ON I was surprised of how well it handles FPS games like Modern Warfare. It gets a little to get used to the wide field of view but to me it was an advantage. I'm no hardcore gamer but my KDR improved from 1 to 2. The experience was unreal. On a PS4 I didn't like it, the monitor stretchers the image because it does not support this monitor resolution. Playing Blue-rays on Movie mode is like watching my Samsung LED TV, deep blacks and no blurring. The things I don't like is only has two HDMI connections, a DisplayPort would have been nice. The headset input is on the back of the monitor sucks, why not place it on the side or closer to the bottom edge of the monitor or have Bluetooth built in. This requires a headset with a large cord. I ended up just using a Bluetooth speaker and headset thru my PC. The sound was better coming from the PC anyways. Overall I recommend this monitor to get more work done and cut the clutter of having a 2 or 3 monitor set. Crossing fingers that it will last for years. 1 year warranty is not enough for the price range.

I bought this monitor for $300 in October of 2019. It worked wonderfully for about a year, offering a clear, bright picture and an ultrawide screen that made parts of the games I play into works of art. For the first year of this product's active life, I would have happily given this monitor a five star review. Unfortunately, in January of 2021, the monitor started going black every three minutes with an accompanying flicker. I tried every solution on the internet including checking the refresh rate, ensuring that my PC's drivers were updated, using the other HDMI port, using another HDMI cable, and switching out what was connected to the monitor from a Windows 10 PC to a Windows 7 laptop to my Sega Genesis Mini. I moved all wifi devices well away from the monitor as that was listed as a solution elsewhere. Nothing worked. After exhausting all options, I called LG's support and did a little more troubleshooting. The problem remained unsolved, and since my monitor is just a few months out of warranty, I was told that I'd have to pay $400 to get it fixed. I declined and am currently shopping for another monitor. It's disappointing in the extreme because my previous monitor was a smaller LG that still works and will be what I'm using in the interim. It's not as if the unit was ever abused or dropped; I take great care of my possessions. Every other monitor I have ever had, LG or not, has lasted for years, and I've never actually had a monitor go bad before. I recall being at Best Buy picking out this monitor and choosing between this one and another LG because my previous monitor was so good that I wanted another LG. However, between the lack of longevity of this unit and the idea of having to pay more to get the monitor fixed than what I originally paid for it, I don't have any brand loyalty left for LG. Maybe I just got a bad monitor and your experience may vary, but I'm disappointed, angry, and frustrated and can only give this monitor two stars. The attached picture is what I see when the monitor is "on."

100% satisfied. I use a laptop and had two monitors set up to use with it, but that meant a hub and three monitors was putting miles of wasted mouse moving. This one monitor replaced my two others and got rid of tons of wires and is much more efficient. My Remote Desktop doesn’t like the split screen functionality but I just run that on the laptop and all my other programs on this. Side by side excel documents are soooo much easier to use with this. Love it!

Customers enjoy the large screen size and find the monitor easy to use. Many appreciate the price and the improved multitasking capabilities due to the screen size. However, some customers point out that the resolution could be better and that the monitor lacks built-in speakers. A few also mention that the stand could be more adjustable.
