This air conditioner easily cools off my 15 x 20 living room. It is easy to set up. A big advantage for me is that the drain plug on the back is in the middle of the unit, about 18 inches off the ground. This makes it really easy to connect a hose to drain the water from the unit into a container. Most other portable air conditioners have the drain at the bottom, leaving very little room to set up drainage. The only downside I have found is that it is fairly noisy, but I have not heard any other unit that is significantly less noisy anyway.

For the price this unit is great, it cools very effectively. I did read where in previous reviews where it would leak condensate, I can say I have not experienced this problem at all and the unit has been running 24/7 for 2 weeks now. I particularly like the energy saver mode as the fan does shut off and I did see an actual savings on my electric meter. I use it cool a room 20x25 and it does so without any issues, you won't be disappointed in it.

We've had different A/C units, but none cool our room as well as this one. We get the afternoon sun, but no issues for this unit. Simple setup and maintenance.
