Customers often highlight the 40" Class LED HDTV's picture quality, describing it as very good. Many customers also mention that it is a great TV for the price. The TV's easy setup is also frequently praised. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the limited number of HDMI ports, poorly designed remote, and insufficient volume.
It's loud! I keep it on 13 and that's good enough for me. I'm hearing impaired so coming from me that's saying something. The color options on this is sure fire quality, so just get it already. I vouched and that's that.

I bought this TV in August when I moved into my new apartment. I had browsed Best Buy and other outlets and found this model on sale for $249. After spending way too much of the poor store clerk's time considering this and other models, I made my purchase and I couldn't be happier! The TV looks great, picture quality is fantastic, and set up was a piece of cake. Best of all, I haven't had a single problem with it in four months. Only small complaint is volume could be louder (considering purchase of a sound bar). Thanks, Best Buy, for a great TV at a great price!

I got the TV for $179, during Christmas season. I compared many others (32"-40") in the $200 price range, and found this one to be the best bang for the buck, for a 1080P 40". We haven't had it for long, but it's been great so far. You can find something wrong with any TV out there; no matter the brand; so it comes down to the features that you really need or want. I went with LG because they have a good reputation on quality. Yes, this TV doesn't have an audio out; which I don't like and think is fairly silly, but the speaker volume is fine for a bedroom. It doesn't have a bunch of inputs either, but how many do you really need? If I were to move it to a larger room, then I can just run the sources through a receiver with speakers, and then it'd have many more inputs available, and more than enough volume. After reading many articles and reviews, I opted to not get a Smart TV, for many reasons... Others able to hack into your home network through TV, connection issues, junky menus/apps, firmware issues, etc.. I could have gotten the LG 40" or the Insignia 40" with Smart Features, for the same prices; due to holiday pricing. I feel it's better to buy a good quality TV without Smart, and then just get a streaming device.. Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire. I spent the money on Apple TV; due to Apple's quality, security, and software features.
