The colors pop without being unrealistic and the black levels in real time viewing are very inky and good. The game optimizer with some adjustments works pretty well. As far as colors and sharpness goes, this TV performs as well as my Sony X950H. For the price it’s probably the best TV you can get in the 400$ range.

Sales woman suggested the 43" LG Nanocell. She was right excellent tv. Good picture out of the box but with a little tweaking …Wow. The picture is bright and clear. I had no trouble with the setup. The only con is the Magic remote can be trying at times. It has a floating arrow that moves with the remote. I just turn it off and use the remote by clicking. With practice might get use to the floating arrow. Over all great tv for the money!

Arrived with a bad panel.

Wanted to repurchase but decided to wait a bit since it is a new model. Not much else to say about, I set it up, saw the screen, watched a bit of Netflix and took it back to Best Buy.

Good television but did not meet expectations

Technology including Nanocell from LG, direct lit backlighting, and HDR technology. I use this for my Xbox Series X so I can enjoy the detailed graphics. The sound and graphics is good but on the lower right above thr leg black displays lighter than the rest of the screen. I purchased a direct lit television because i wanted to avoid stuff like that. So I am kind of annoyed with that. Beyond that the quality is actually very good. The visual enhancement technology is great and would really shine eithout the light spot on the screen. I don't know what some reviewers mean by light flickering because i havent noticed that. I will include a pros and cons list for those who don't want to read this review. Pros: The included visual enhancement technology, Nanocell technology, HDR technology, and direct lit screen Audio quality Metal back plate on the TV instead of plastic Good price compared to other televisions on the market. Cons: Light spot noticeable on the lower right of the screen when displaying solid dark colors. The visual enhancement technology is less effective because of the light spot that is seen in dark colors.

As I said in my review, even older TV show reruns (think: Law & Order and Blue Bloods) look almost like they shot direct-to-video. I agonized for a long time before buying, but it was almost >always< on sale. My advice: Take the plunge!
