Q: What is the difference between the wm6700hba and wm6500hba?
A: I believe the only difference between the two is the 6700 model has ezDispense which adds just the right amount of detergent and fabric softener for you, with capacity to clean 18 loads with 1 easy fill.
Q: does this have light inside?
A: It does have a light inside, but the power must be on for it to come on. If you just open the door, it does not light up
Q: Can you do a drain and spin or spin only with this machine? The 6500
A: Yes, you can do a Rinse and Spin, or Spin Only with the LG 6500. However, those selections are not on the original cycle selection list. You have to add them to the cycle list using the main dial and a "add additional cycles" step. Once added, they are on the list. There are many other preset cycles that can be added as well.
A: I am the person who submitted this question. I wanted to let whomever answered this question that their advice to view the troubleshooting link worked great. A simple unplugging of the wall outlet, followed by holding the power button for 5 seconds, then the pause button for 5 seconds, then plugging the wall outlet back in worked perfectly. Upon powering up again, the Dial now displayed all the available cycle options. Many thanks!

A: A. To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ~Tanisha

Best smart washer
Best washing machine ever. I just hit the AI wash and it takes care of everything for me. I love how it will also remind me if anybody left clothes in after the cycle is done to prevent that old wet clothes smell
