Customers consistently note the excellent cleaning performance and large capacity of the 5.5 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D, along with its quiet operation and ease of app-based use. However, some users mention challenges related to the lack of an agitator, and occasional issues with the spin cycle, as well as the washer's depth. A few customers also reported experiencing problems with the washer's balance and reliability.
I will preface this review by saying I never give five star reviews because that means there is no room for improvement. No one and nothing is perfect. With that being said I bought the lg 5.5 cu. Ft washer and let me tell you there is enough room to fit your largest bedding. I also work in the oil and gas industry and my clothes get pretty dirty sometimes. Even on the turbo wash mode which conserves the most water my clothes come out pretty dang clean. I was skeptical because I came from a washer with an agitator. It’s much quieter than my old washer and there are so many different settings. I would recommend this to friend.

At first I was not into this washer because it created a LOT of suds that were left over from the wash because it doesn't soak the clothes in water - more like swishes water around the clothes. However, since I figured out how to add an extra Rinse, that issue is no longer an issue. The clothes are always cleaned. And most importantly, this washer is SUPER QUIET. I love that! The only small issue is it can have trouble with weighted clothes that soak up a lot of water - it'll go off balance. Not sure if another washer would do better, but that's my only gripe. Still, it gets 5 stars from me and I am very happy with it. [As a side note, I purchased a Samsung, which failed 14 days in, got it replaced by Best Buy with another one; but decided to try this LG. I am glad I did!]

Love my new LG washer. No agitator was what I wanted for washing comforters and it is plenty roomy for it and comes out smelling so clean. Love it for weekly washing as well.
